Heavy Voidling
Description
The Heavy Voidling, internally referred to as Elite Voidling, is a high health enemy that appears in Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has high health and fast speed.
It has two abilities:
- The first and only ability seen in regular gameplay is Stamp of Execution, where the Heavy Voidling stomps at a tower in its range of 10, creating a shockwave with a radius of 10 that stuns towers for 2.5 seconds and deals 150 damage to units.
- The second ability is Lane Switch, which makes the Heavy Voidling jump from one path to another, temporarily becoming a Flying enemy. As there are no maps with more than one path in either mode it appears in, this ability goes entirely unused.
Logbook Description
"Heavy Voidlings were created by Void Cultists as a means of remedying their pacifism. In their mind, stealing an unsuspecting Swift and cramming them into a suit of armor may have been questionable at best, but it was for protecting those who embraced the Void. The Cultists felt this was entirely reasonable, however the Swift inside the suit felt differently. The Cultists have noted the Swift’s complaints and will take them into careful consideration at the next ceremony. They have not yet held the next ceremony."
Appearance
The Voidling has purple skin and neon pink eyes. Both of its arms are cut off. It wears grey armor on its feet, shoulders neck and waist, strapped to it with brown clothing. On its back it has a small black cape. It also has multiple neon pink crystals growing on its body.
Strategy
- High DPS towers like the Juggernaut, Accelerator, Turret, Engineer or Ranger can be used to take it down.
- Such towers with Stun Immunity can be especially useful, as this means they cannot be stunned by the Heavy Voidling.
- Support towers like the DJ Booth, Commander and Medic can be used to boost their DPS.
- The Heavy Voidling moves at a fast pace and can be dangerous if not targeted.
- Using towers that can stall enemies like the Electroshocker, Freezer, DJ Booth or Hacker is recommended to slow it down.

Trivia
- The Heavy Voidling's ability to jump between paths goes unused in both Hardcore and Voidcore modes as neither mode actually contains maps with more than one path.
- This means it can only actually be seen in Sandbox mode.
- Originally, the Heavy Voidling did not have this ability while the Voidling did. Because of this, the enemy got renamed from Elite Voidling to Heavy Voidling as Elite is typically used for stronger versions of enemies with base mechanics inherited.[1]
- The Heavy Voidling is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
