Description

[edit]

The Carrier, in-game referred to as Carrier 1 despite there only being one Carrier enemy, was a large, four-legged enemy, whom upon its death, exploded into 4 Swarms, and created a large green bile bubble that stunned towers that were caught within it.

Appearance

[edit]

The Carrier had four dark green legs with claws. It was taller and wider than the average enemy. It had a long, light green, bent neck as well as a green head with glowing red eyes and a smile face, and it did not possess arms.

Strategy

[edit]
  • The Carrier will not destroy or stun any Military Base units or Crooks from the Crook Boss if any of them are caught in the explosion upon the Carrier's death.
    • This makes units very useful in defeating the Swarms that spawn, if your towers are stunned.
  • Long-range towers, such as the Outlaw and Sniper, are effective against the Carrier as they can shoot it from a long distance away and not be caught in the explosion.
  • The explosion radius is nearly unavoidable by ground towers.
    • If required, you can use the Freezer's Ice Drop ability to stop the Carriers or the Swarms in their track, before they get to close to your towers.

Trivia

[edit]
  • In the game, this was called the Carrier 1, even though there was never a Carrier 2.
  • The Carrier's design was inspired by the Mutant Creeper, a modded mob in Minecraft.
  • Before the first wave in which the Carrier appeared, the text "Awwww man...." was a reference to the song Revenge by CaptainSparklez's when he says, "Creeper? Awww man."
