- ―Beginning of Wave 40 (Pre-Overhaul, Polluted Wasteland Fallen)
Description
The Nuclear Fallen King was the final boss of Polluted Wasteland Fallen mode. It replaced the Fallen King in Polluted Wasteland.
It moved somewhat slowly (during Rage Mode, it moved quite fast for a major boss), but had an outstanding amount of health, had lots of abilities that could stun lots of towers and could destroy units, proving to be one of the hardest challenges of the game. However, it only spawned in Polluted Wasteland, which was a long map with multiple loops, making the enemy far more balanced. It stopped moving when performing its Stomp and Block move. It had many immunities, namely burn, freeze, energy and Splash Damage.
Appearance
The Nuclear Fallen King was a radiant green version of the Fallen King. It carried a jade sword and shield. The Nuclear Fallen King had a granite dark green dominus with glowing green horns. Its armor was granite dark green and appears to be glowing neon green on some parts. It had a dark green belt, gloves and boots. It also had a granite dark green cape. Green smoke and green particles were emitted from its torso. It was normally faceless but upon Rage Mode being activated, it would gain green glowing eyes.
Strategy
- Be aware of the Circuits that the Nuclear Fallen King may spawn as it can speed it up massively.
- They must be killed quickly otherwise the Nuclear Fallen King will easily walk past all of your defenses.
- The Nuclear Fallen King has lots of immunities that limits the amount of towers that can be effective against it.
- It has Freeze Immunity, so it cannot be frozen by the Freezer or Frost Blaster.
- Due to its large size and Energy Immunity, the Electroshocker can slow the Nuclear Fallen King down for a very short period of time instead of stunning it.
- It has Burn Immunity, so the Pyromancer cannot burn the Nuclear Fallen King. However, it can still deal non-burn damage to it.
- The Nuclear Fallen King also has Splash Damage immunity.
- While this makes the Mortar and Rocketeer useless against the Nuclear Fallen King itself, they may be useful in clearing out the enemies that the Nuclear Fallen King can spawn.
- Military Base units can still damage the Nuclear Fallen King with collision and gun damage, but not cannon damage.
- While this makes the Mortar and Rocketeer useless against the Nuclear Fallen King itself, they may be useful in clearing out the enemies that the Nuclear Fallen King can spawn.
- When the Nuclear Fallen King performs its Block ability, it cannot be damaged from any source. It is immobile while this move is performed, as this is mainly to waste time/ability duration.
- This can be used as breathing room to manage your towers, but do not use abilities, such as the Commander's Call to Arms, during this move.
- The Nuclear Fallen King's Block prevents all forms of damage. Units, like the Military Base Tank, will pass through the Nuclear Fallen King without dealing collision damage.
- The Nuclear Fallen King is accompanied by four Fallen Guardians. They are always in front of the Nuclear Fallen King. They should be fought first since they are faster than the Nuclear Fallen King.
- You do not need to kill the Fallen Guardians spawned by the Nuclear Fallen King when it performs its Rage Mode ability as they will not give money when damaged.
- However, if they get past by the Nuclear Fallen King, they should be dealt immediately as they can easily walk past your defense due to their high health and defense.
- Beware of the Nuclear Fallen King's Stomp attack. Its shockwave covers an enormous radius around the boss, stunning any ground troops caught in the radius.
- The Medic's ability can cleanse towers, as long as the Medic itself is not stunned.
- This ability also deals 750 damage to all units. This destroys all units instantly, except for the Railgun Tank.
- Cliff towers, such as the Ranger, are not immune to any attack as the Acid Rain attack occurs for every ability used.
- Try to place towers away from the path as the Nuclear Fallen King will perform its Acid Rain attack for every ability it uses.
- Multiple high DPS towers, such as Minigunners, Golden Minigunners, Turrets, Rangers and Accelerators are recommended against the Nuclear Fallen King.
- Make sure to sell any Farms to maximize the amount of towers attacking the Nuclear Fallen King. They do not produce any income anymore, count towards your tower limit, and can be replaced by more useful towers.

Trivia
- The Nuclear Fallen King's theme is a remix of the old You Lost! theme.
- After the Overhaul Update, when the Nuclear Fallen King died, its death animation did not play.
- Additionally, after Rage Mode was activated, its sword had purple sparks, which is only meant to occur for the Fallen King.
- The animation for the Stomp attack also did not play.
- Unlike the Fallen King, the Nuclear Fallen King did not gain shield health when Rage Mode is activated.
- Prior to the Overhaul Update, the Nuclear Fallen King was one of the few enemies to gain a shield. This shield reduced the damage dealt by most towers to 3.
