Description

[edit]

The Null Guardian Clone was a clone enemy only spawned by the Null Guardian's Summon Clones ability, meaning it only appeared in Banlands as part of the Null & Void Event. It had a high amount of health, though lower than the Null Guardian, and an average speed, making it faster than it.

While initially spawns with no abilities, once the Null Guardian has less than 50% of its health, it will gain a Null Aura that applies a 30% Firerate Buff to towers.

Logbook Description

[edit]

"The Null Guardian Clone is a manifestation of chaotic energy, born from fragments of the Guardian's own memories. Each clone is a snapshot of who he was moments before made into physical form. Each time the Guardian uses his abilities, his memory is sacrificed, slowly forgetting his own history and becoming more reliant on the Nil Zone to remember who he once was."

Appearance

[edit]

The Null Guardian Clone is a heavily armored entity with black skin and purple eyes. Its armor consists of a chestplate, helmet, shoulder-pads leggings and arm armor, with only certain parts of its body like its face being exposed. On its hands, it has a few fingers with electricity coming out of them. In the middle of its torso, it has a ball of dark energy that has purple lightning around it.

Event Strategy

[edit]

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Banlands is listed instead.

  • The Null Guardian Clones can be taken down quite effectively by towers like the Golden Minigunner, Accelerator, Ranger or Pursuit.
    • Support towers like the Commander and DJ Booth can be helpful at boosting the statistics of your towers.
    • As it always spawns in groups of three, AOE towers like the Rocketeer or Mortar can help out with killing them.
  • While it is a clone of the Null Guardian it does not keep any of its abilities except Null Aura which buffs the towers. Additionally, it is also not a Boss enemy, meaning it is has far less immunities.
    • One notable immunity that it does not have is being converted by the Hacker, which due to the Null Guardian Clone's high health can be used to deal decent damage to it through enemy conversion.
