Description

[edit]

The Reaver is an enemy that appears in Intermediate and Molten Arena PVP modes. It also appears in The Takeover Event. It has decent health for its debut and above average speed, but it makes up for its high Defense, making it quite dangerous.

Due to a bug, Reavers with the Slime attribute do not spawn the Slime upon death.

Appearance

[edit]

The Reaver is a humanoid with a waist, lower arms and lower legs in its rig, with its legs being thinner than its arms. It has a very light green skin color, torn dark brown shorts, and a dark green fluid on its lower limbs. It is missing its right forearm, and has a pair of four ribs sticking out of the side of its torso. Most of the skin on its head is missing, revealing a skull. Its head also has patchy black hair on the sides, and it has green tumors across its body.

Strategy

[edit]
  • As the Reaver has 125% Defense, most sources of damage have their damage halved.
    • Towers with decent DPS, like the Minigunner, Crook Boss or Hunter can be useful against it.
    • Support towers can be useful at boosting the DPS of your towers, allowing them to kill the Reaver faster.
  • Collision damage can be useful against this enemy, as it can bypass its defense, dealing full damage. This makes spawner towers like the Military Base, Mercenary Base or Crook Boss useful against it.
    • Multiple of these towers also have multiple damage sources, some of which being splash damage, which also bypasses defense.
  • The Trapper can be useful against this enemy, as all its traps deal damage that bypasses defense.
  • Splash damage towers that can bypass defense, such as the Mortar or Rocketeer, can be useful against this enemy.
  • Defense dropping towers such as the Pyromancer and Freezer can decrease its defense.
