Abilities
Ability 1Cooldown: 32.5	Shard Toss - Penumbras summons three spheres of energy that fire beams at towers in its range of 20. These create circles around them that last 6 seconds with a range of 10 that apply a 20% Range Debuff to towers. Towers with the Stun Immunity are immune to this.
Ability 2Cooldown: 40	Rain Of Crystals - Penumbras summons a circular light in its range of 60 at a tower or unit. This light has a radius of 7.5, moving to another part of the map at a speed of 10. As it travels it has projectiles projectiles raining down that stun all towers within the circle's circumference for 3 seconds and deal 75 damage to units.
Ability 3Cooldown: 50	Summoning Eclipse - Penumbras summons two Lunar Titans.

Description

Penumbras, internally referred to as Penumbra, is the final boss Sorrowful Remains that appears there as part of the Solar Requiem Event. It has far higher health than all of the enemies that appeared before it but walks slower than them. As it is a Boss enemy in the event, most stalls were either weaker or did not work on it at all.

It has three abilities:

1. Shard Toss makes it summon three spheres of energy that fire beams. This will create circles around them which last for 6 seconds and have a range of 10, applying a 20% Range Debuff to all towers without Stun Immunity.
2. Rain Of Crystals causes Penumbras to summon a circular light in its range of 60 at a tower or unit. This light has a range of 7.5 and will move to another part of the map at a speed of 10, causing projectiles to rain down that stun all towers in the circle for 3 seconds while also dealing 75 damage to units.
3. Summoning Eclipse has Penumbras summoning two Lunar Titans.

Logbook Description

"Penumbras was Umbra's head knight, and no one in her army was more loyal. Few ever learned that he had been born a prince, or that his royal line carried a magic his family spent generations hiding. He fell defending Umbra once, on the outskirts of her tower. He remembers it clearly, and he cannot understand why he is standing again. He fights for her still, but the path he is on leads him through the start of their memories. Somewhere beneath it all lies a promise he made to her, and something he never found the chance to say."

Appearance

Penumbras takes appearance of a pink humanoid wearing damaged armor and a ripped, purple shirt. Penumbras has demon-like horns and a broken objects reminiscient of a penumbra levitating above its head. Penumbras has brown hair. Below its hair, on its shoulders, and in a few other places, light pink energy is present. Penumbras wears a tattered, grey cape.

Strategy

• Although most towers are capable of taking down Penumbras, due to it summoning Lunar Titans towers with lead detection are preferable here, which includes the Golden Scout, Snowballer and Golden Demoman.
  • Towers without lead detection like the Militant or Golden Soldier can also be used, though they need to be supported by lead detection towers for the summons.
