"Incoming new mysterious enemy!"
―Beginning of Wave 32 (Beginner's & Molten)

Description

[edit]

The Super Mystery, originally called the Mystery 2, was an enemy similar to the Mystery, but upon its death, it spawned the Molten, Normal Boss, Necromancer, Shock, Slow Boss or Hidden Boss. It could spawn any of these enemies, regardless of what the mode was. It had the same amount of health as the Strong, but was as fast as the Speedy.

The Super Mystery could have been spawned by the Mystery Boss and Grave Digger. The Super Mystery used to appear in Beginner's and Molten modes. It was replaced with the Mystery Boss.

Appearance

Strategy

[edit]
  • Since the Super Mystery comes out after some several high health enemies, such as the Speedy Boss, it is recommended to have high DPS towers present to defeat that enemy before moving onto this enemy.
    • Since the Super Mystery mostly come in hordes, Rocketeers and Mortars are also recommended.
    • High DPS towers, such as the Minigunner, are recommended for the enemies that spawn from the Super Mystery.
  • Do not underestimate the Super Mystery as they can advance very far down the path and spawn their high health enemy.
  • If a low health Super Mystery is near the end of the path, try not to kill it as it is likely that, when killed, it will spawn a high health enemy which will lead to a defeat.
  • The enemies that spawn from the Super Mystery do not need to be killed for wave progression to occur.
    • If you are speedrunning a map, you should focus on killing the Super Mysteries first before moving onto the enemies that spawn.

Trivia

[edit]
  • The appearance and name of the Super Mystery were originally based on the Mystery2 from Tower Battles.
  • The last version of the Super Mystery looked similar to the first version of the Mystery.
  • The Super Mystery was similar to the Uber Mystery as they could spawn enemies that did not normally appear in Beginner's mode.
    • All the enemies that it could spawn appeared naturally in Molten mode.
  • The question mark on the Super Mystery is a re-textured version of the Question Mark accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The Super Mystery was replaced by the Mystery Boss.
