I just went to crossroads in sandbox and placed 5 accels.
I spawned a boss frost champion.
The 5 dots are the accels and red line where the frost champion died.
Then i placed 1 lower path jugg and 1 boss frost champion.

dude alot of enemies can and WILL attack your units also the fact there are alot of frontliners in frost mode (yeti, frost invader ,frost undead) that will more often than not screw up your stack, lackeys will never have full uptime unless if enemies are at the back, so you are still dealing below average dps usually
also dont forget that frost champion itself can just tank lackies or attack them- 1

frost likes rushing you with enemies that can full on stun freeze or debuff your towers, kingpin is assumingly your main form of lead and flying, due to the way the enemies synergize with eachother, more likely than not you'd have alot of fast enemies on the map especially those with detections. Even if they dont kill all your lackeys, a few aggro invaders can easily eat up your lackeys before kingpins can kill them

Of course the high hp units will deal more damage in an instant, in terms of long term DPS accel smokes kingpin by a long shot, this isn’t Even including his lack luster DPS + detections ESPECIALLY in the mid game
Thats also why lackey is the better unit over bouncer even if both are bums

As for Military Base, Mercenary Base, Crook Boss, Golden Crook Boss, or even Hacker? Are they also just worthless unit towers or are you only going to mention Necromancer and Kingpin? Which by the way, Kingpin is closer to another tower that isn't Necromancer, which is Crook Boss... Even then, Kingpin doesn't even have a spawn animation that impedes him, unlike Crook Boss.

Military base has constant damage output and is cheap, crook and gcrook literally perform well without rheir units hacker is a support tower with only decent DPS at max level top path

dude accel’s lock on doesn’t Even work, his targetting functions normally, in all my games accel clears the hordes, and in the rare situations where he does actually lock on, the Target dies before fodder goes far
