Just use assassin. Better ce, has aoe, generally cheaper. Same detections. The only thing brawler really has is knoxk back and repo

literally just a quick comparison shows that brawler is obviously better- 2
Single dps on a melee tower. Besides hes like 1.5 times the price. You do realize early game towers are kinda supposed to be rushed so you can get better towers faster right. Assassin can do that brawler can unless you invest more into him

Because if you skim out on early you can force late game towers into early. Assassin helps with that and in late game its decent aoe that helps clear up fodder. Brawler sure has high damage but its not enough to be justified because its usually can only take down like half the hp of a group of slow bosses before they go out of range. Basically if i had to choose id take the aoe tower because its atlease getting a group of enemies weakend
