If you use enforcer to move the firework tech, the towers that had the firework buff will still have it even if they are out of the range, and it will still work normally, even if you upgrade the firework tech it will still update the firework shot from the tower, and selling will still show the icon (althrough fireworks won't spawn anymore). I tested with moving a tower out of his range and it does remove the buff.
edit: forgot to mention that towers outside the range won't contribute to the damage counter of the firework tech
