Get out... Hallow Punk, Harvester, and most of these towers aren't perfectly rated within the slightest.

hallow punk is actually cracked for frost early game aslong as you have good rng with random targetting

I mean, he has a point:
-Engi is leaning heavily into her JOAT role, which sometimes doesn't end up being enough.
-Ranger fires slow as molasses, needs clffs to function and might have to miss out on support tower buffs to be placed, and lacks Hidden (Y'know, the thing you ding Kingpin for).
-I like using Pursuit a lot, but it's a tower that requires a good deal of micro to use effectively, plus the bottom path (With HD, a far cheaper price, and better AOE damage) is often shafted for 'haha big damage go brrrrr.'
-I've honestly not seen Gatling usage since 2025 outside of fragmented appearances in Polluted Wastelands 2, which while it seems to do fine there, PW2 requires a lot of micro and focus that Gatling locks you into for maximum effectivness, compared to other micro-heavy towers like Pursuit, Merc Base, Necromancer, Medic, and Commander where you can cycle them while doing other things. Outside of PW2 Gatling usage has been incredibly uncommon (I've seen more Necromancer and BASE SCOUT in Frost matches all year than I have Gatling) since Juggernaut completely mops the floor with Gatling at being a better Hacker clone abuser.- 0

Well no shit bro she isn’t meant to be used for one purpose only, a high end late game dps or early game dps will function better than her, but only in their own Fields Engineer is good because she has no true weakness, at the cost of not excelling at one thing
Ranger shoots slowly, but it’s still 10k damage every 8 seconds bro
that’s unironically better nuke damage then necro and kingpin, and sure the lack of hidden is bad but he excels so well at clearing the other 2 nicher detections, usually instakilling them that he’s a no brainer pick in frost hardcore and debatably voidcore
Pursuit requires micro but obv rewards you with a gimmick not many other dps towers have, both stun immunityand map Wide range- 0
Engineer is completely outclassed by any tower which isn't bad (Juggernaut is unironically better 5th slot for SHC, which is one of her best niches as you say). Talking about Ranger, having fast firerate is better than slow no matter what. Oh yeah, sTuN iMMMunity and MAp wIDE raNge. Also, both Pursuit and Ranger cost nearly the same amount of money as BP Juggernaut, but Ranger gets outclassed by CB, Pursuit is better, but still ass.

"engineer is COMPLETELY outclassed" juggernaut has no early game viability and is way too expensive to dump all your money into his upgrades mid game, he has no farm of stun immunity, and why would it be shocking that the tower meant for late game would perform better late game then engineer, and also "5th slot for shc" isnt a flex because literally any tower can fit in that,
"fast firerate is better than slow" well yeah but thats instant 10k damage every 8 seconds is better than kingpin having 1k damage every 40 seconds from bouncers

+ both paths of jugg deal similar dps (TP jugg deals less actually) to pursuit, while BP jugg has actually WORSE cost efficiency, which would be okay if you know, he had map wide range.
"ranger gets outclassed by crook boss" crook boss gets countered by leads and the moment an enemy leaves his range thats like 80% of his damage output gone + ranger can still deal an instant 10k damage that can splash (with no enemy limit its bugged if i remember)

if a towers ass it isnt underrated its just to bad for people to use why are we putting slime trooper, firework tech, and biologist in slightly underrated (and ESPECIALLY gold soldier with how often ive seen it been used)
move warden, trapper, and elementalist into underrated and place dj in overrated (its the unfortunate truth we need to realize stop using dj over commander and medic)- 1

its the worst of the four main supports (hacker, commander, dj, medic), and the fact that its used the most often in solo is insane (I can understand if you know how to use hacker and stack dj damage and range buffs but if you dont why are you using dj)

Medic is practically useless in solos. DJ is good because se of Eco, insane Range buff, cdamage buff and abilities.

Kingpin is good everywhere, but obviously legacy mechant that lost his Relevancy after 2.0.0 with CE of a rock and attack speed of Moon going from Earth is better because "stun immunity and map-wide range".

pretty decent points but
Dj is still insanely versatile, he’s the only tower able to reduce tower upgrade costs (which usually helps your eco more than hacker, using both definitely is a top 3 way to greed in polluted wastelands), is the best form of range support (which is situational and is usually only used for the ability that can stall)
Dj is like the défensive counter part of commander, buffing overall attacking time and your eco, he doesn’t Excel at increasing your dps too much, also taking in the fact damage is rounded so lower damage towers dont Even get affected that much- 1
its the quality of the buffs that matter, and I will always take commander over dj simply because his support buffs provide more to my loadout then dj will. This is only for solo, if your running duo you need all 4 main supports. Hacker is non-negotiable shes best tower in tds I will always run her

I don't play this game to perform to my best. I like towers like Kingpin, Pursuit, Necromancer, and Spotlight Tech. I like having fun over leering over spreadsheets.

Nah, my lobbies are typically fine, I just know that those people exist because those people exist.
It's honestly way worse when I matchmake on Fallen, so I stick to Frost since the braincells actually live there. - 2
You do realize it's impossible for true skill based matchmaking, right? You get paired with players that are the quickest to queue with most of the time.

This is the one thing that makes Quick Play the way it is, so of course Raz can sue copyright over it and many things that have been refactored without him for free money and pure malice.
