2022: Engineer releases and is 2000 more gems then accelerator yet several times worse (arguably worse then ranger at that time imo, only shined in solo hardcore but other then that there was nothing going for her)
2023: Accelerator gets nerfed then reworked while engineer gets buffed and it STILL isnt enough (also powercrept by ranger & turret for good, still a solo hardcore merchant)
2024: Finally gets her glory once accelerator, turret, and g mini fall out of the meta with gamemode reworks only to STILL get powercrept by ranger, merc base, and later pursuit (was genuinely just used when you had no idea what was good for a gamemode)
2025: Accelerator becomes relevant again, then hacker, merc base, and warlock. Better this time around but early game options evolve and prime gold scout happens.
2026: Finally has her moment of glory during hc rework and voidcore only to get nerfed and then replaced by operator. Also her life long enemy accelerator is back.

shes always outclassed in something (for a 4.5k gem tower, im expecting nothing short of S tier performances which other towers in that price range can easily fufill, engineer is high A at best theres just always better options)
