Played and 100%'d every event starting from og frost invasion til now.

1. Solar Eclipse: The seven month wait for this was definitely worth it. At the time a pretty good battlepass, night 1 was a let down but nights 2-3 compensated for that. Night 4 was also just perfect for the balancing at the time. The introduction of the solar cannon or star cannon or whatever it was called is nice. Good presentation, introduction of the now overused nights system, introduction of voice acted dialogue, it was just good all around. Solar eclipse despite being an event made in 2021 was VERY ahead of its time, still the benchmark for what a td game event should be in my eyes. I dont have to say much, most people who were there will either say that it was the best event in all of tds, or the one im ranking second is.

2. Null & Void (Including admin abuses as part of it, halloween 2025): 2025 had been a pretty crappy year for tds after duckys revenge ended, and this event (starting with the admin abuse) pulled tds back to life. The admin abuses were never before seen and were ACTUALLY TIMED PROPERLY UNLIKE THIS YEARS, and the banned skins were also really good (electroshocker and scout especially). Considering we didn't have a live event since back in overhaul (which I didnt get to watch), this was definitely a breath of fresh air, and a first for several tds players. Admin abuse aside null & void itself was really good. The curses were a nice feature, the gameplay was good all around (except for night 2 ahem), the return of the star cannon or solar cannon (i still dont know what its called) in night 3 was nice, and we ACTUALLY got to see lord exo. Cutscenes were nice, null & void fixed the tds lore, and we got to see narrator return. It could be nostalgia bias putting this below solar eclipse but im telling you this event comes REALLY darn close to solar eclipse. Theres a massive gap between the top 2 and the rest of the events so.

3. Frost Invasion 2021: This was my first event so if I sound a bit to nostalgic forgive me, but this event had a nice battlepass, a shame that there were only four skins but gave us some pretty unforgettable emotes. The gameplay was good and introduced the first ever 1m hp boss, it wasnt a revolutionary event per say, but its carried by the raw gameplay and what it was at the time. Sledger was also a pretty neat event tower. Again huge gap between n&v and everything below it.

4. The Final Act (Xmas 2025): A bit of a controversial take, but the battlepass was... Fine, most of the good skins were in the two robux crates (which were awful to grind for), but seeing narrator return for one last event (and seeing it finally being pulled off correctly) was good. The achievements definitely added replayability, and the gameplay was fine, the spotlights got to return which was nice to see. I think this event coming right after null and void definitely helps it quite a bit considering tds had just gotten out of one of its best ever events only to follow up with an event that met or arguably exceeded expectations.

5. Hexscape (Halloween 2024): We were a bit cruel on this event. By no means was it a bad event, but its not really the mid everybody thought it was. Considering this was mostly damage control for lunar overture, it did a good job at that. The first two nights were good but night 3 felt a bit like doo doo dps check slop, which I can get by since the final boss was the first and still only ever enemy in tds that doesnt follow the path. It took me a few attempts but it was nice. The battlepass was mid, but it had some good skins (wasteland mil base and wasteland dj). This event was solid in every aspect except the writing (cutscenes themselves were good), and I think that it deserves number 5. Unlike every other modern event on this list, hexscape wasnt really flawed. not exceptional in every aspect, but good. A jack of all trades, master of none.

6. Krampuses Revenge (Xmas 2023): This was a REALLY solid and memorable event considering the disaster lunar overture was. The gifts system returning for the first time since 2019 and being overhauled was huge and gave the event much more replayability. The events gameplay was also good, and used map changing really well (even going back to reference frost invasion and violent night). This event was mostly just reused assets (I think ENTIRELY reused assets except for the map itself and boss), but it managed to merge all those reused assets into an overall good event. The battlepass was quite good, including the emote, and there was a lot of easter eggs and charm to this event. Worth noting this event basically brought tds back to life after the release of tdx and lunar overture flopping. This was basically a true christmas event theming wise.
Hexscape and krampuses revenge are interchangable on this list.

7. Operation ICE (Xmas 2024): This was essentially a remake and love letter to the original frost invasion, but its ranked lower because the event gamemode itself was weak. Took to long, 40 waves (which is NOT normal for an event even 2 years later), and admittedly kind of easy. The good thing is the scrapped molten monster got to return, and whatdya know now its a permanent piece of content. The battlepass was memorable and had some pretty good skins (dark frost trapper, dark frost crook, and frost merc base). Frost mortar returning after being scrapped from the og was also nice. Paradoxum got everything right about this remake EXCEPT the gameplay and what made the OG frost invasion memorable (the gameplay itself)

8. Duck Hunt (Easter 2022): The first five months of 2022 was just really good overall and i'd argue best five month stretch in tds history. Duck hunt brought back ducky doom from easter 2022 and properly introduced the ducks whilst also having good buildup. It was the first time we saw the defend the center gamemode, and the ONLY good execution of it. it was easy, but the gamemode itself was interesting and very fun to play. The battlepass was quite nice and remained consistent, only downside to this event is that its the only non collab event to feature no event tower. Thats fine since after solar eclipse tds made it apparent they would do less events and less event towers, but since then they just havent held up to that promise.

9. Ducky Revenge (Easter 2025, not counting the rerun in 2026): This event is HARD CARRIED BY THE MAP, and the battlepass i guess that was fine. The daily or tri-daily rewards for beating the event on hard mode was unique, and the battlepass was the highest quality yet (also considering we didnt have an easter event in 3 years), but the map was unique... Except it got cheesed by pursuit and ranger which were already the two best dps towers. Also the optimization was the worst of any event in tds and that dragged it down. Paradoxum did actually attempt to make an interesting event gameplay wise with the map, but it wasnt executed right.

10. Solar Requiem so far (halloween 2026): I already mdae an entire rant as to why I dislike this event (also considering it was meant to be the succesor to solar eclipse... you can see the gap between the two), night 4 has yet to release but the first 3 nights have already soured the event for me and cant drag it into the top 5.

11. Lunar Overture (Halloween 2023): Im.. mixed on this. This event was amazing in every other regard except act 3 (which was a disaster I dont feel like explaining). We got cutscenes for the first time, we got ugc, the lobby, everything about the event was great but the finale was a complete catastrophe that ruined it.

12. Violent Night (Xmas 2022): Boring copy of duck hunt 2022 battlepass sucked nothing to note here I dont wanna explain.

And thats it, im not gonna bother to rank the other events that were collabs with roblox or others such as the adidas collab, tds x pls donate, etc.
