Assassin and brawler are really different melee tower both being great for early game but Asaassin focus more on crowd control in levels 2 - 4 making it a cheap really great tower also having a high dps at max. Brawler doesn't excel at crowds but makes up for his single tower damage and knock back making him great for dealing tons of damage quickly to single enemy's especially for slower but tanker ones while also being great for stalling quick enemy's in late game.
