Just beat intermediate. Now I have "Battle Hardened"
I also have this loadout, haven't tried it out but seems to have potential
I got at least 1 level of each of these skills, how do I get the others, seems like once they become mostly grey but how do I rise like that grey thing

very nice loaodut composition, i think once you replace soldier with militant you can beat molten, and maybe fallen.
As for the grey skills you need to gert the skills nearby level 10 to unlock them. Dont worry about skill tree until you unlock hardcore
