Scrapped Features
Towers
Hunter
- The original name for the Hunter was going to be called Clout God and it had a different design.
- The name and design were changed as some people felt it was too similar to the Tweeter from Tower Battles.
- The first version of the Blue skin for the Hunter looks similar to the original design.
Soldier
- The Cold Soldier skin was originally based on the Winter Soldier in the Marvel Universe.
- The Cold Soldier was originally planned to be named Bucky Barnes or Winter Soldier.
- The Stealth Ops skin was originally called Extrasolar Warrior[1] before being changed to its current name. The former name references the Extrasolar Wars.
Militant
- The first version of the Pumpkin skin originally was supposed to wield a Winchester rifle instead of an FN FAL, this however was never added.
- The Militant has an unreleased Delinquent skin, originally meant to be released with the Arsenal x Tower Defense Simulator crossover event, which has never come into fruition.
Farm
- In the Frost Invasion Event trailer, a scene shows the Farm with a Vendor skin. However, the skin was initially cancelled due to the skin being broken.
- The skin was added over three years later as a code skin.
Rocketeer
- The quad missile launcher was the originally planned weapon that the Rocketeer would use at the final Level, though this never happened until January of 2025.
Ace Pilot
- The Level 1-2 aircraft for the unreleased Hotshot skin is a Piper Cub, armed with machine guns on its wings.
- The Level 3-4 aircraft resembles a North American P-51 Mustang fighter aircraft with the iconic invasion stripes livery, also known as the D-Day markings.
- The Level 5 aircraft is the iconic Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" with the iconic "Shark mouth" paint.
- Ironically, despite having the powerful and famous GAU-8 Minigun in front of the aircraft, three machine gun pods can be seen attached to the undersides of both wings. This could mean that the GAU-8 at front of the A-10 does not do anything, and the only guns that fire are the gun pods.
- The Hotshot skin appears in Wrecked Battlefield II, despite not being present in-game.
- However, they are not the same as the ones posted in the Tower Defense Simulator Discord. Most notably, the stripes on wings and the spades are removed.
Military Base
- The Apocalyptic Railgun Tank can be found in Wrecked Battlefield II, despite not being a skin in-game.
