    Or, if you get everything but pyro, but get 5 gold crates, what would happen?

    It'd just say that you need more towers to open this crate

    also it'd remain a random tower until you get all 5 so there's no specific order

    i think it would say out of skins buy more troops to have more skins avaliable.
