Pursuit is insanely underrated, technically infinite range, decent DPS and crowd control, really cheap bottom path for decent crowd control and hidden detection.
Honourable mention to Frost Blaster and Cryomancer for stalling, and Executioner and Mortar for crowds.- 1

Tds players when they see "map-wide range" and stun immunity act like the tower is a shredder. If it can't beat an enemy - it's not good.

Pursuit might have less dps but does that matter if it can attack forever and it will eventually kill the enemies- 2
Safty like map wide range and raw power are mutually exclusive. What would you rather have: strong towers like accel and jugg who can already take out enemies or a tower that has a problem and sells you the solution. Besides leak catching is the job of a sub dps tower anyway. You really shouldn't be having your main dps deligated to that job

Pursuits advantage over other towers is that
It can attack forever
While still having alright dps (same dps as kingpin)
It is very cost efficient for the amount of attacking time you’re gonna have, if you can’t have 100% uptime outside of reloading on your pursuits, the game is either buggy or you suck at the game- 1

Pursuit has only 260 dps at its best and most expensive path
While kingpin has 500 dps by ITSELF and its lackey stack can reach reach a max of 2k dps. What tf are you on about- 0
PURSUIT HAS 302 DPS ITS LITERALLY ON THE WIKI
kingpin has 460 dps
lackeys can only have up to 525 per max stack
but since lackeys dont have some breathing room and when the 4th one spawns the first one dies
its closer to 300- 1
2k dps with all 4 kingpins at max stack. A normal game would be something around 1k dps which is still insane compared to pursuits dps

Here we go again, Kingpin is just better. Not a debate, just a fact. Not a rocket science, not an university math, just a fact that everyone knows, but not everybody admits.

« which is still insane compared to pursuit dps » it’s really not, kingpin has similar ce (even with units) to pursuit who has a way longer attacking time, lackey dps cannot Even be buffed and pursuit can be nearly fully buffed due to its uptime. Lackeys are insanely vulnérable to boss attacks and have no way to counter being Frozen. They cannot catch leaks effectively even if the spawn Time is kinda fast , 25 seconds is not saving you from a nimble enemy
And I feel like I do not have to repeat this again but
Lackeys only have hidden
Kingpin only has flying and lead
If an enemy has hidden, only lackeys can attack
If an enemy has flying or lead
Only kingpin attack
Meaning on average, your DPS is HALVED on an enemy
Making him less worth your money than he already is without having map Wide range
Pursuit’s cost efficiency is cancer because… it can attack forever and ever

I have almost never seen someone using pursuit these days, it's been overshadowed by juggernaut, kingpin and enforcer, but pursuit has some advantage over the others, I have used pursuit in hardcore and it always clutched the bosses that had too much hp, and helped with the void floaters and the leads.

Honestly I would say Operator
Monstrous CE, insane range (even if that's not super important), excellent DPS, 2 detections (one of which being quite valuable), fully buffable, and still holds up lategame (somehow). Operator is a lot more busted than people give him credit for, though the other options presented here are still good (Except Pursuit, holy hell Pursuit's midgame is terrible).- 0
Operator would be too obvious. Honestly Commando is an amazing mid-game too, and Pursuit... he needs a buff of rebalance/rework.

Why TF kingpin here bro he gets fucked by a hidden boss

Gcb is an amazing tower that scales very good late game, being the simeplest tower in here
pursuit while also lacking cheap hidden, it can kill every if not most dps checks in the mid game due to, having map Wide range + missiles
enforcer has mounstrous ce early on, is a heavy hitter DPS, usually being able to deal hundreds of damage per hit AND can scale to being a utility later on with it’s abilities and flash grenade
Engineer is a joat, so she can not only cover mid game but even early and late game better than most intermediate-advanced towers, even some hardcore and evo towers sometimes
Her ce while not Technically being the best objectively it is RIDICULOUS relative to her dps, having 150 ce for nearly the same dps as accel
Kingpin has genuinely no advantage the others have except maybe having passive eco
(Which is only noticeable after spending 20k on the tower)
His hidden is very weak, which wouldn’t be bad later on, but in the mid game that’s atrocious, and somehow makes him struggle even more the longer the map is. A mid game oriented tower shouldnt lack the most barebones of detections - 2
Yall dont see the potential in enforcer like I do only correct options here are gcb and Enforcer

Unfortunately Enforcer's midgame performance is held back a lot by his signature jank, but he still does shockingly well midgame (especially in Hardcore).
