How the HELL is Brawler worse than Necromancer

Brawler is Molten coin grinding merchant and that's all.

Brawler is a tower easier to outclass, considering how brutal the early game roster is.

use it in a real game of hardcore or fallen and see why necromancer is better

besides necromancer (which isnt bad just the worst of these five elite towers), brawler gets so much unnecessary hate. Decent range for a melee tower, best cost efficiency of any tower in the dps, knockback. Deadass only downsides are his hidden at level 3 (which is pretty late) and thats it. brawler is by no means a bad tower he can be used for nearly every gamemode and serve as a speedrunning option (which the best towers are gonna give you the BEST results)

He isn't a bad tower, but he is powercrept.

by whom? The so called towers that "powercreep" him serve completely different purposes (which sounds controversial I can explain why assassin, operator, or warden are all seperate from brawler, I mean they are better towers except assassin but its like apples to oranges and tbh I dont feel like explaining). For a melee early game he does his role well, probably only rivalled by gladiator cuz his aoe adds insane cost efficiency (and great sub dps).

His main niche is early game, but he is just not needed for that when we have other towers. His reposition is useless, unless you just need to catch a small leak. His knockback is useless due to most enemies having Stun Immunity.

single target unlike any other melee tower besides warden makes it bad in modes with crowds

your acting like single target isnt an early game struggle because people dont bother using any single target and stick to their splash based early game

Brawler is outdone by Assassin. Pack it up, man.

In general, Brawler is just by far the worst melee tower in the game, even more so than Warden (since at least Warden gets an insane upscale with Exploding Enemies enabled). His stall has the most common immunity (stun) and is still quite negligible outside of stall stacking, he has no consistent AoE, he has pathetic range (as with all melees), is almost purely single target, and scales terribly in multiplayer, whereas in singleplayer there are tens of better options than Brawler.

Reposition is mediocre at best and is only harmed further by its cooldown, he can't stall, he can't deal with hordes, he can't deal with single targets, WHAT DOES HE EVEN DO???

There is literally NOTHING Brawler brings to the table. At the bare fucking minimum Necromancer has high potential and scales well with the Skill Tree. Brawler's potential is nonexistent. Even fucking Assassin is better than this bum, and Assassin covers the exact same detections for CHEAPER while having actual AoE that isn't on a shitty 30 second cooldown and only causes you to leak MORE than you would have despite being designed to catch leaks. NEVER use this tower.

Everything you just said gets negated by actual gameplay oh my god
