Necromancer's still a solid and strong option, there's just much better and less demanding picks over him. Necromancer's demand for interaction is just too high for his payoff, though.

Then why is it being used in Totality Tower and winning? Why is it able to solo Hardcore? Why do people keep using it and winning if it's apparently the worst tower in the game?

This is just the reverse of saying "Using Kinpin makes N4 10x easier but using Merc base is somehow functional" like using G mini or jugg or star cannon or hacker are just OPTIONS if you have grinded way more to use options that instead of just saying "Possible" they say "EASIER" like using normal mini or G mini is just a way of saying "I didn't have 2 Evo towers, and 2 hardcore towers so I just searched up for a way to do it but just a little harder with the resources I have"

And I don't mean by that that you don't need 4 unobtainable towers and somehow it ends up being better using way less expensive towers. What I mean is that if I used 1 TOWER that is just barely more expensive and worth grinding than accel or any other non expensive tower I could make my run way better. Example: In an assignment of school lets say you have to make an essay and the only AI available costs money (we are not counting ethics or laziness for this because it is just an example) I will forcefully do it myself, yeah I could, but a tool to at least speed it up is always viable, and if I already have a job I wouldn't find a reason to say "YEAH LETS DO IT THE HARD WAY"
