I love golden scout for a good reason. There is not a single mode where he is considered "useless", not even hardcore. He is a reliable speedrunning tower, and can defend well in literally every survival mode and events. He is versatile, as you can defend with him in the very early game and is still effective in the mid game. His only downside is that he isn't the best at any specific thing.
Accelerator is a late game shredder.
A hardcore win with my friendGolden pyro is a beast. He is the reason I can beat hardcore and win grind for engineer. He absolutely shreds the early game, only needing help against tough singular enemies like the abnormal boss.
Commander is fun. Micro cta is not too hard and it is incredibly rewarding to do.
Golden minigunner is just accel but more into the early game side. Great dps, good range, very reliable sub-dps and I find more uses with him than engineer
