literally every spawner based tower suffers from a "unstackable" map, what are you on bro

rifleman has more range than lackeys
merc has field medics, riot guards (WHO HAVE MORE HP THAN RAILGUN TANKS AND ENFORCER SWAT VANS) and airdrops
kingpin's contractor cant stack and her dps output is just sad
money runner is utility focused so i wont compare it here, im a d1 hater but not unfair
lackey does have decent stacking potential but not only does he have below average range, he needs to be in huge numbers to deal high end dps, which takes alot of time and also FULLY gets reset by a boss attack, merc can build that up with 1 click of a button (well 3 but still)

these 2 honestly aren't totally comparable due to merc's more supportive role and higher stack potential, but i would personally consider kingpin the better of the 2. it's still a close match since it's 2 excellent towers, but i just find kingpin more versatile overall.- 0

Anything before october 2020 is og. Idk about everything between overhaul and solar eclipse some people consider it og some not, i'd just say midgen. Everyone else is modern 2022-2026

how is mercenary base "outdated"
this is literally a "new toy" syndrome where people just cherry picks the new towers and abandon the old ones, which I don't mind, personally, I just use whatever I can use
I could say the opposite with "people gaslight themselves into thinking that all new towers are superiorly better than the old ones and call those shit" (for the sake of being outdated), is that fair?
everyone has their preferences at the end of the day but calling something "weak" and "bad" just because its "outdated" when in reality it can still perform good in a normal gameplay, thats just being unfair then- 0

there is no environment in which merc base's units die with proper field medic and riot guard usage

i deadass keep hearing the same "kingpin is better htan engi" "kingpin is better than merc"
his damage output is weak
he is only good for eco (and only shines in the final waves, like mr juggernaut)
he lacks the most common detection
and his units suck, if your main argument against merc is that its units keep dying even WITH field medics, kingpin's units are way bigger victims of this, and at the very least merc has some utility with its buffs and airdrops, bottom path kingpin cant even provide eco outside of money runners (who suck when ur not using l4a or higher)- 2
what if we keep lackeys alive with merc base and buff our kingpins with merc base while utilizing merc bases own perk ouu hollup I might be reinventing synergy here
