Tower Idea: Acid Blaster

by VultureSniper · · 0 comments

Description The Acid Blaster is considered a support-type tower because of it's low DPS. However, the Acid Blaster is special due to it's ability to deal ongoing corrosion damage over a long period of time. The corrosion damage mechanic is comparable to the Pyromancer's burn damage. Unlike the Pyromancer, the Acid Blaster can slow down enemies that it inflicts the corrosion effect on. This comes at a cost; the Acid Blaster deals less damage than the Pyromancer. Just like the Pyromancer, the Acid Blaster has two separate sources of damage; the normal damage and the corrosion damage. Some enemies are immune to Poison, so the Acid Blaster can't deal corrosion damage to those types of enemies or slow them down. The Acid Blaster can still deal…

Tower Idea: Ninja

by VultureSniper · · 0 comments

Description The Ninja is a tower that attacks by throwing knives (or shurikens) at enemies. The Ninja has a relatively high firerate and damage that compensates for it's low range. What makes the Ninja unique is it's knives or shurikens can penetrate multiple enemies, allowing the Ninja to damage more than one enemy with one attack. The Ninja is considered and early to mid-game tower because of it's cheap placement cost and upgrade prices and low range. The ability to damage multiple enemies makes the Ninja useful for clearing out hordes of weak early-game enemies, however the Ninja has poor single-target damage potential so it's usefulness will kind of fall off in late-game. Tower Idea: Submachine Gunner

by VultureSniper · · 0 comments

Description The Submachine Gunner is a ground tower that costs 1,000 coins in the shop. The Submachine Gunner is unique because it has a limited amount of ammo per magazine. The amount of ammo is indicated by an ammo bar in the Submachine Gunner upgrade UI. When the Submachine Gunner's ammo bar is exhausted, the Submachine Gunner will be forced to pause for a few seconds to reload it's gun, regaining it's lost ammo in the process. This mechanic functions the same way as one of the older versions of Militant. The Submachine Gunner is considered an early to mid-game tower, because of it's low damage and range. The Submachine Gunner has a high firerate for what it costs, but the tower's DPS is significantly limited by it's ammo feature. This…

Tower Idea: Village

by VultureSniper · · 0 comments

Description The Village is a spawner tower that spawns humanoid warriors. It can only be unlocked by beating the Barbarian Raid event. Periodically, the Village will spawn a unit at the end of the path. It will move along the path towards the enemy entrace until it gets destroyed or an enemy gets in range of it's attack. Most Village units have a melee attack. Unlike the Military Base's units, the Village's units will stop to attack instead of continuing to run into the enemy. If a unit reaches the enemy spawn, it will be destroyed. There is a limit of six Villages per player.
