Skin Trivia

  • The Badlands skin is based on multiple enemies that appear in Badlands II, with the humanoid appearance being based on the Husk enemy, while the outfit worn by it at Level 5 is based on the Gunslinger enemy.
  • The Retired skin is based on Walter White from the Breaking Bad franchise.
  • The Agent skin is likely a reference to Agent 47 from the Hitman game series.
  • The Kasodus skin is based on a Roblox developer, animator and YouTuber Kasodus.
    • The former Kasodus icon uses a grey cloak, which was only used on the skin from Level 3 onwards.
    • The outfit, and previously the guns and animations used by the Kasodus skin is a reference to Joker from Persona 5.
      • This was also heavily emphasized in Kasodus's trailer about the skin, using Persona 5 colors (Red, Black and White), music and, in the end, an audio of Joker's neutral special meme from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
  • The first version of the Pumpkin skin may have been based on the Headless Horseman.
  • The first, second and third Golden skin used the same design as the Redemption, just with some parts being re-colored golden.
    • The second and third versions of the Level 5 Golden and Redemption skins appearance are based on the original Level 0-4 appearance of these skins.
    • Additionally, the first versions of the Golden and Redemption skins holstered revolvers which were not used to attack enemies until Level 4.
  • The first, second, third and fourth version Kasodus weapon resembles a newer version of the M1911, though the creator insists that it is the KSC TT33, which is an airsoft gun based on the TT-30 pistol.
  • The third and fourth version Kasodus skin color used to have its arms be tan instead of the intended pale. Because of this it could have four possible variants, these are:
    • Skin is entirely pale.
    • Left arm is tan.
    • Right arm is tan.
    • Both arms are tan.
  • Level 3-4 Cowboy wields a Colt Python although the weapon started in production in 1955 while the cowboy era ended in the late 1890's, making it historically inaccurate.
  • The first versions of the Redemption, Bandit and Golden skins using the CB-64 is historically inaccurate as the cowboy, as a profession, was only common in North America during the mid-19th century. The original Sterling submachine gun is a British-manufactured gun which only began production during the Second World War.
  • Before the Wanted Dead Update, most of the skins gained shades at Level 5 that had enemies in their reflection. However, most of the enemies did not resemble any enemy in the game.
  • Level 0-2 Cowboy's animation cocks the revolver after shooting but it appears that the hammer is not pulled back after doing so.
  • In the Overhaul Update the Cowboy gained an idle animation where it would throw its dual revolvers into the air and then catch them mid air. This would later be removed in the Wanted Dead Update.
  • The Bandit skin is based on the Risk of Rain 2 character of the same name.
  • The MegaBit skin is based on Megabit, formerly known as Megalodon.
  • The Vampire Hunter skin may be a reference to Alucard from Hellsing.
  • The Shamrock is the first skin does not having received a dual wield on Level 4 with it's Default skin animation.

Roblox Catalog

  • The first versions of the Default and Pumpkin skins used revolvers that were The General's .45 from the Roblox catalog, just without the ivory handle.
    • The first version of the Default skin used a hat that was the Quickdraw Cowboy accessory from Roblox catalog.
  • The Golden skin and Redemption skin previously used the Don't Wake Me Up face from the Roblox catalog.
    • The first versions of the Level 0-5 Redemption and Bandit skins wore the Black Stetson Cowboy Hat accessory from the Roblox catalog.
    • The third versions of the Level 5 Golden and Redemption skins wore a re-textured version of the Fancy Black Cowboy Hat from the Roblox catalog.
    • The first and second version of the Golden skin (and formerly the Redemption skin) uses the Western Wheat accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The CB-64 model used by the Redemption, Bandit and Golden skins was the Sten Gun from the Roblox catalog.
    • Despite the name stating that it is a Sten submachine gun, it is actually based on the Spanish copy of the Sterling submachine gun, the CB-64.
  • The pumpkin head used by the first version of the Pumpkin skin was the Sinister M. accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The face used by the first, second and third version Kasodus skin is an edited version of the And then we'll take over the world! face from the Roblox catalog.
  • The bandolier used by most skins between the Overhaul Update and Wanted Dead Update is the Leather Bandolier accessory from the Roblox catalog.
