This is the gallery subpage for the Accelerator/Gallery. It contains images of every skin, descriptions, skin information and more.

Skin Upgrades

The Accelerator has twenty-six skins in total. This includes:

1. The Default skin.
2. Eleven that can be unlocked from Crates.
3. Three skins that can only be unlocked from the Daily Skin Store.
4. Five skins that can be unlocked from Passes.
5. One skin that can be unlocked from both Crates and Passes.
6. Two skin that can be unlocked from the Merch Shop.
7. Two skins that can be unlocked from Mission Quests.
8. One skin that can be unlocked from PVP Seasons

Skin Trivia

• The Accelerator formerly used the War Machine upgrade icons, which is a tower only a few selected people have.
  • As of the Violent Night Update, the Accelerator no longer uses the War Machine icons, and now uses its own icons.
    • The Accelerator's Level 5 upgrade icon has the Enemies Beta versions of the Speedy Boss and Slow Boss in it.
• The Level 5 Accelerator changes the color of some effects to a different color.
  • Because of a bug, this does not normally occur. It can only occur when you upgrade the Accelerator to Level 5 when the effect particles are still active.
  • The tower ability particles, such as the Commander's Call to Arms, will change colors.
    • During Hardcore Testing BETA, this also happened with the John's Enraging Shout ability.
  • Stun particles, such as basic stun particles also change color.
  • Before 7th of April 2023, the tower indicator ring under the Accelerator also changed colors.
  • The color of some effects is changed depending on the skin.
    • The Default, Plushie, Speaker Titan, Deluxe, Dank, Patient Zero and Disco skins changes it to purple.
    • The Mage and Navy skins change it to white.
    • The Cupid, Ghost Buster and Ducky skins change it to red, though it is a different shade of red for each skin.
    • The Eclipse and Vigilante skins changes it to orange.
    • The Ice Witch skin changes it to blue.
    • The Red and Legend skins change it to light yellow.
    • The Nuclear skin changes it to sea green.
    • The Elite skin removes them completely.
• The Hazmat skin was most likely removed due to bugs.
  • The appearance did not change when upgraded and the animations were broken.
  • For some reason, the unboxed version of the Hazmat and the Hazmat in the skin preview are different from the one seen in-game.
• Prior to the Duck Hunt Event, the Mage skin used the same face as some hidden enemies, such as the Shadow and Hidden Boss.
  • It also has dark green skin, similar to a lot of enemies in the game.
• The prism used by the Mage skin and by the first and second versions of the Ice Witch skin is a reference to the Last Prism from Terraria.
• The Mage skin was originally going to use a staff, which would change with Levels, but in the game it does not.
• The Accelerator’s icon used during Hardcore Testing BETA is the Kirby Super Star Ultra sprite for Kirby’s Beam copy ability.
• The Ghost Buster skin is a reference to Ghostbusters.
• The Elite skin is based on the content creator Elite.
• The Elite skin is the only tower skin to still use the Roblox default face.
• The Speaker Titan skin is based on upgraded version of Titan Speakerman.
  • Weirdly, the first and the second version of Speaker Titan icon used the first version of Deep Freeze Freezer's icon.
• The Nuclear skin was originally made by SoupedGun, though the final model was also made with collaboration of Jaaziar.
  • Originally, it was planned to have the laser come out of the skin's chest, but that got scrapped and replaced with a regular gun.
  • Level 5 was at one point supposed to turn its neon parts yellow, before that was changed to a more teal, sea green.
• The Nuclear skin is an updated version of the Hazmat skin.
• The Senator skin is based on Supreme Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars.
• The Dank skin is based on DanksPlatter.
  • This skin was made as a reward for being one of the first people to triumph Infernal Abyss on Hardcore mode, alongside CrazRex and 5ouls. All of them received a skin.
  • The skin was made by 5ouls, one of the people who he triumphed Infernal Abyss on Hardcore with.
• The Patient Zero skin is based on the Patient Zero enemy.
  • Some parts of its appearance, most notably the accessories gained at Level 2, are taken from the Living Experiment.
• The Octopus skin is a submission from the Aquatic Fantasy skin set made by 4it3dm1 and InkEve.
  • The skin originally was a human wearing an octopus costume up until Level 5 which resembles an octopus more. It was changed into an anthropomorphic octopus when it was added into the game.
  • Some minor design changes were made, such as the eyepatch gotten at Level 1 being removed.
• According to the Accelerator Octopus Charm, the Octopus skin is a rare subspecies of Accelerator rarely seen on the surface.
  • The description suggests that the Accelerator is somehow different enough from humans to be considered its own species. This is most likely just a mistake, and it is meant to state it is a rare subspecies of octopus instead.
• The Magician skin's appearance is based on Artful, a killer from the game Die of Death and from Sinclair, a character from an upcoming game developed by Valve called Deadlock.
  • This skin is a submission made by enbycoated.
• The Beach skin was models were made by c4n while the concept art was made by UnknownCanvas.
• The burger pool floaty the Beach skin wears is a reference to how Accelerator likes to eat hamburgers only on Monday and Friday.

Roblox Catalog

• The Legend skin's dragon is published as the Awakened Dragon accessory from the Roblox catalog.
• The hair used by the Dank skin is the Blonde Spiked Hair accessory from the Roblox catalog.
