[edit]Skin Trivia
[edit]- The Sentry's design was based on Team Fortress 2's BLU Sentry Gun.
- The original appearance of the Sentry had smooth faces, and there were some developmental images with this smooth face mesh. However, for the release of the Sentry, it had flat faces.
- Originally, during the development of the Sentry, there were only three distinctive models to coincide with Levels 0-2, 3-4 and 5. This would have been the same progression of visual changes made to the Default Turret at the time.
- However, BelowNatural would later add a fourth distinctive model, a definitive Level 5 upgrade.
- Earlier developmental images of the Sentry would show the previous progression, with a Level 4 model having a teddy bear as part of its cosmetics. This would later become a defining feature of the Level 5 model.
- However, BelowNatural would later add a fourth distinctive model, a definitive Level 5 upgrade.
- The Sentry used to have a 30% chance to receive a teddy bear at Level 5, which gave it hidden detection. After the 5th of August 2019, however, the Sentry gained hidden detection at Level 5 regardless of whether it had the teddy bear or not.
- The chance to get the teddy bear was removed on the 13th of October 2019.
- A teddy bear has a low chance to appear on an Engineer's War Machine Sentry, being a reference to this.
Roblox Catalog
[edit]- The teddy bear that had a chance to appear on the Level 5 Sentry is the Teddy Bloxpin gear from the Roblox Catalog.
