[edit]Description
[edit]The Indoor 2026 Lobby is the main lobby of the game starting since the v2.4.0 update.
The map consists of six main areas. Players first spawn in the spawn area, from which they can either go to the Survival area that contains two Elevators for each mode, a Story mode area that contains four Elevators, a chill area, an event area that leads to the current event and a Hardcore area with three Elevators, one for Voidcore mode and the others for Hardcore mode. Underneath the spawn area, there is also the crate area.
Appearance
[edit]The Indoor 2026 Lobby is a building with no exit to the outside, only a few windows showing the sky. The players spawn on an elevated platform which a brown and red floor. Underneath that platform, there is a window showing off the crate opening area, which has a small table for the crates, wooden objects and a door. Near the platform there are a few balls, some of which using Roblox faces on them while others being based on Tower Defense Simulator towers. On the walls of the spawn area there are various tower statues and entrances to different areas.
One of the bigger areas is the survival area, which has signs and murals for each mode. Under them there are two Elevators for each mode. Next to this area is the Story mode area. It has four Elevators for the mode, various glowing crystals, dynamite and a sound floor. In between this and the next area is the Spin Wheel, next to which is the chill area. It contains a few random objects, a Bloxy trophy and a frog in a cage. The Backrooms can also be accessed through there. Next to it is the event door, which leads to the current event if open. Next to it is the last accessible which is the Hardcore area. It is an overgrown area located underground. Between the Hardcore and survival areas the countdown for the next event can be seen, if one is currently active.
The Backrooms are accessed behind the whiteboard in the chill area, specifically through the wall. It is a yellow room with a few lights. It can be left through an exit marked with blue tape.

Spring 2026 Lobby
[edit]Description
[edit]The Spring 2026 Lobby is the main lobby of the game starting since the v1.89.0 update.
The map contained five main areas, an area where players spawn, an area with Elevators, event area, extra area and the beach. It contains eight Elevators for survival modes, three for Hardcore mode and four for Challenge Trials. There is also a statue for PVP.
Appearance
[edit]The Spring 2026 Lobby is located inside a beach surrounded by mountains on three sides. Based on the various decorations all around it like the barricades, watchtowers or concrete walls, and also the ambience which contains sounds of gunfire, Commander shouting and the DJ Booth's Drop the Beat ability, it can be inferred that the lobby is located next to or in an active battlefield.
The Spring 2026 Lobby has five main areas. The first one is the central spawning spot, which is located on a giant glass window. Under that glass window there is the crate opening area which is not accessible without the use of bugs. There are four other areas which can be accessed from four different points.
- The first and least notable area is the beach, which on its own does not actually contain anything functional. There are however a few billboards showing community art, most often ones submitted to Discord Art Contests.
- To the right of the beach is the event door, which currently leads to the Backyard Legends Event location. The portal is surrounded by the Spring Frenzy Battle Pass event triumph rewards and Matchmaking statue.
- To the right of the event area is the survival building, which is entered through a hole in the wall. On the way to it, there is the Spin Wheel, Merch Shop and two Leaderboards. On the inside, there are eight survival Elevators and three Hardcore mode Elevators.
- The last location to the right of the survival building is the extra area, which is an underground facility. It contains miscellaneous things from the game, which are the Challenge Trials Elevators and the PVP area.
The Spring 2026 Lobby received multiple revisions that changed its appearance. These were:
- In v2.3.0, the countdown timer was changed to no longer have a statue next to it.
- In v2.2.2, a board was added with Spin Wheel odds, but it only appears for players affected by gambling restrictions.
- In v2.1.0, the Operator countdown was replaced with one for Kingpin. The Backrooms were also re-added.
- On the 12th of June 2026, the event door was locked away, making the Backyard Legends Event inaccessible.
- Few minutes after the previous version, the brick was changed into a proper sign.
- When the Mercenary Pursuit skin was released, a grey brick was added with the code on it.
- With the release of v2.0.0, the countdown was changed to be for the Operator tower. The Hardcore Elevators also were slightly changed so that the middle elevator is for the Voidcore mode.
- With the release of the Backyard Legends Event, the Spring Frenzy Battle Pass event area was replaced with one for the Backyard Legends Event. Anything still needed was moved and placed next to the event portal.
- The Backyard Legends Event countdown was in the Main Lobby prior to the event releasing.
- The Slime Trooper countdown appeared before the tower was released.
- At multiple points the countdown for the Hardcore mode rework was active.
- Before the release of the Saboteur, a countdown for it was added.

Hexscape Lobby
[edit]Description
[edit]The Hexscape Lobby was the main lobby of the game starting since the v1.37.0 update. It has had three major versions and multiple minor versions.
The map contained five main areas, an area where players spawn, an area with Elevators, event area, modifiers area and PVP area. The most recent major version contained five Elevators for survival, one Elevator for Hardcore mode and four Elevators for Challenge Trials. It also had one statue for Matchmaking, specifically PVP.
Appearance
[edit]The Hexscape Lobby was located inside a small area surrounded by walls on all sides, though there was no roof over it. It had four areas on each side, with the first being an area containing multiple Elevators. The ones at the front were used to start survival matches while the single Elevator in the back for Hardcore mode. The next area was the PVP area, which was a small corridor that leads to a closed off location with a statue, leaderboard, top three PVP players, player statistics and an unused clan statue. The third area was modifiers, which contained four Elevators that lead into the trial displayed on the various screens placed around them. The last area was Event, which was occasionally opened for events if the event content was not present in the main lobby.
While not visible in the main lobby, there was also a crate room. However, this can only be seen by going out of bounds. Similarly, multiple Matchmaking statues and art boards can be found under the map.
The Hexscape Lobby received multiple revisions that changed its appearance. These were:
- On the 17th of April 2026, a countdown for the Saboteur tower was added into the Main Lobby.
- For the release of the Spring Frenzy Battle Pass, the whole Main Lobby gained a Spring look. All the snow and winter decorations were replaced by green grass and trees. The event area was also opened up, bringing back the Ducky Revenge Event area for its rerun in the Spring Frenzy Battle Pass.
- Prior to the release of the Spring Frenzy Battle Pass, a countdown timer was added for it.
- For the release of the Narrator Plush, the Merch Shop was changed to showcase it.
- After The Final Act Event ended, the event area became inaccessible.
- For the Winter 2026 version addedin v1.85.0, the lobby was slightly changed to have all of its Christmas decorations removed.
- For the Christmas 2025 version added in v1.82.0, the entire lobby was updated to have a Winter look. The lobby is now covered in snow and all the Halloween decoration was replaced with Festive decorations. Later on, the event area would open up, which lead to two new rooms.
- For the Halloween 2025 version added in v1.76.0, the entire lobby was updated to have a Halloween look. A large portal was also placed in the event area, which leads to a new portion of the lobby set on a flying island surrounded by the void.
- For the Trials version added in v1.75.0, the crates area was replaced by the modifiers area, which houses four Elevators for Challenge Trials and three screens displaying the current trial. The crate area still exists, though it has been moved underground out of the player's reach.
- For The Takeover Event version, which added in The Takeover Event Matchmaking statue in the middle of the lobby.
- For the Summer version added in v1.71.0, the lobby was updated to have a Summer look as it is now covered in sand and various plastic tools. The PVP area has been opened up after being inactive for close to a year and the Matchmaking statues were moved underground.
- For The Hatch Event, a giant egg and smaller eggs that could be collected were added, but they could only be seen if Tower Defense Simulator was entered through the event's game.
- For the Walmart Discovered Pass collaboration, Wren was added to the lobby.
- For Ducky Revenge Event, the event area was opened up. It contained the Matchmaking statue for the event, an area to purchase developer products that skip the need of triumphing the map for cosmetics and an ad for the Mecha Bunny + Nerd Ducky Mini Plush.
- For the PVP Test, the gold Commander statue was turned into a functional PVP Matchmaking statue.
- For a brief period of time during the April Fools 2025 Event, the lobby returned to its non-baseplate form except there was now a statue of a humanoid rat performing the Boston Breakdance emote. This statue acted as a PVP ranked Matchmaking statue, however, trying to access any of the listed modes would result in an error.
- For the April Fools 2025 Event, the entire lobby was replaced with a baseplate. The only objects from the lobby that remained were the Matchmaking statues, though the characters on them have been replaced with waving R6 humanoids.
- For the Spring lobby first added in v1.57.12b, The Hunt: Mega Edition Event area was removed.
- For the The Hunt: Mega Edition Event, the lobby was updated for Spring and had the Event area open for The Hunt: Mega Edition Event. All the snow previously present in the map was replaced with grass and trees.
- For the Winter lobby first added in v1.50.0, the Operation I.C.E Event area was removed.
- For the Operation I.C.E Event, the lobby was updated for Winter and had the Event area open for the Operation I.C.E Event. All Fall decorations were removed from the map.
- For the Fall lobby first added in v1.44.0, the Tower Defense Simulator x PLS DONATE Event statue was removed.
- For the v1.42.0 update, the event area was locked off, effectively removing the Hexscape Event content from the lobby.
- For the Tower Defense Simulator x PLS DONATE Event, a Matchmaking statue was added next to the entrance to the event area that made it possible to play the event.

Frost Invasion Lobby
[edit]Description
[edit]The Frost Invasion Lobby was the main game lobby starting with Overhaul v1.3. It had only three different versions, all of which being very similar to each other.
The lobby contained three areas, the main spawn area that was surrounded by four small rooms, a leaderboard room which contained two Leaderboards, though they did not work, an artwork room with a green screen, an armory which did nothing and a store which did nothing. The other two areas are areas for Elevators. One ends with event Elevators while other ends with Hardcore Elevators.
Appearance
[edit]The Frost Invasion Lobby took place in an enclosed area, with the only look to the outside being the multiple windows around the place. While a door to the outside did exist, it was boarded up. The center of the room was surrounded by four statues of the Minigunner, Commander, Ranger and Pyromancer. There were also a few crates, barrels speakers, planks and trees in there. This room lead to six different locations. Four of them were rooms, which consisted of:
- Store, a room which contained a few plants, a couch, crates, speakers, boards and lockers. It also had three racks containing weapons and a counter for the store, which had weapons behind a glass display. Behind this counter, there was a wooden wall containing multiple weapons. The back also had a door to a separate room.
- Artwork, which had four art boards containing community fan art. It also contained a green screen, a Bloxy, a few plants, speakers vending machines, crates and sofas.
- Armory, a room full of weapons. In the back, there was a tank. The room also contained a few crates, speakers and couches.
- Leaderboards, a room which main purpose was being the spot for two Leaderboards, though neither worked. It also contained a few barrels, a sign with two swords, a few plants, lockers, crates and speakers.
The other two spots were hallways which contained Elevators. One ended with event Elevators while the other ends with Hardcore mode Elevators. Both had survival Elevators on the side.
The Frost Invasion Lobby received multiple revisions that changed its appearance. These are:
- For the Matchmaking test, an envelope was added few days before it released.
- For the Metaverse Champions Event, Giga AJ was added to the lobby alongside a portal to the event mode.

BETA Indoor Lobby
[edit]Description
[edit]The BETA Indoor Lobby was the main game lobby starting with BETA v1.7. It only had two versions, both of which very similar to each other.
The lobby was located inside a brick building. Players spawned in the center and could go in either four direction. Directly in front of them were the MEGA Servers and event Elevators. To the left were survival Elevators and to the right there were Versus Elevators instead. Behind them there were Leaderboards.
Appearance
[edit]The BETA Indoor Lobby was inside a brick building that only had a window on one of the walls and a few holes in the roof. Outside there was green grass and a few trees. In the hallway in front of the spawn area, there are three rows which contain either grass or water. The grass rows contains various flowers while the water ones have water fountains. Next to them there are multiple seats. On the walls there were multiple images which either showed off maps or game developers. At the end, there were two Elevators, one for events and two for MEGA Servers. On top of the Elevators, there was a Minigunner and Pyromancer statue.
To the left and right of the spawn area there were two halls, one for survival Elevators and the other for Versus Elevators. Survival hall ended with an image of a map while the Versus hall ended with a Leaderboard and top three players from that Leaderboard. Both had seats inbetween Elevators.
Behind the players there was a Leaderboards section containing two Leaderboards. Top three players on them would be displayed on pedestals next to the Leaderboards. There were also multiple seats there.
There were two versions to this map:
- The second version had the event Elevators area themed around the Area 51 Event. The Versus area was also opened up and made functional.
- The first version had the event Elevators area themed around the SFOTH Event. The Versus area was locked behind a green wall while all the Elevators in it were broken and displayed End of the Line as the map.

Alpha Lobby
[edit]Description
[edit]The Alpha Lobby is the first known lobby for the game. It has been in use since the alpha stage of the game and ended up lasting a few days in beta before getting replaced. Through old Discord messages, it can be assumed this lobby was first added on the 12th of June 2019, as no images or mentions of a lobby can be found prior to that point.
This being the alpha stage, the lobby only contained Elevators and a perk store, which did nothing as no such feature existed at the time.
Appearance
[edit]The Alpha Lobby is located in a building with metal walls, a glass roof and a stud floor. There are a few red lights on the walls. There are also a few couches. There are two sides in this building, one just contains a single MEGA Servers Elevator, while the other contains four Elevators and a perk store which does nothing.
