Description

[edit]

Versus was a mode where multiple players would fight against each other. The players were split into two teams, a red and blue team. You could pick a team by entering an elevator with the team's respective color. The waves itself were the same as a standard Survival game, however, players had the ability to spawn enemies with CashCash as a way to defeat their opponent. These enemies were unlocked on specific wave. Versus had a significantly smaller selection of maps than Survival. The map chosen would be the same for each player. Versus victories were separate from Survival triumphs.

Players could win by reducing their opponent's base health to zero. In the case of players losing at the same time, beating Wave 40 without any of the teams losing or all the players from one team leaving, there would be a draw.

Versus mode allowed up to six players to be in each team. When a match started, players got to choose which mode they wanted to play. These modes were the same as survival modes, therefore, their wave structure and rewards will not be listed here. The enemies you could send were changed depending on the mode you have chosen. Before the MEGA Update, up to four players could be in each team.

As of 4th of March 2020, Versus mode has been removed from the game. As this mode was not played often, little is known about it. Because of this, some information on enemies may be missing.

Versus mode was spiritually succeeded and replaced by PVP Test on the 18th of May 2024. It would be finally released as PVP on the 23rd of July 2025.

Pre-MEGA

[edit]

Versus mode had maps specifically made for the mode. These maps were based on already existing maps in Survival, with Candy Valley being based on Candy Cane Lane, while Castle Outskirts was based on Castle.
