[edit]The Waste Water Event is an event concept on the Tower Defense Simulator Wiki. It would reward nothing until July 9, 2025, where it rewarded the Water Sprayer Tower and the Virus Engineer skin.
The event started on June 14th, 2025 at 12:00 PM UTC and ended on August 28th, 2025 at 12:00 PM UTC.
Cash was only gained if an enemy was killed, or in some cases, damaged by a specific amount of health. Additionally, the amount gained was a set amount of cash, which was not always equal to the enemy's health. In solo, you received 100% of the cash when an enemy was killed, or if it was damaged enough. With each additional player, this decreased by 12.5%, which meant that in a quad, you only got 50% of the cash. This amount was distributed between players based on how much damage they dealt. However, if a player did not deal any damage, they would receive 0%. If it was a decimal, it got rounded up or down depending on the decimal value. If it was at least 0.5, it got rounded up. If it was less than 0.5, it got rounded down.
Enemies increase their health by 15% with each wave due to the Mutation modifier.
There is a legacy version of this concept, although the option to view it is currently unavailable.
Design & Path
[edit]Tropical Isles is an archipelago, with one small island, one large island and multiple small rocks scattered across the ocean. Each island has palm trees, small rocks, cliffs with grass that can be used as cliff spots and multiple grass patches. A red ship can be seen docked near the island, next to a wooden bridge.
The yellow stone path starts and ends at two caves. It takes two long meanders, avoiding the natural environment.
Rewards
[edit]Rewards are calculated as:
| Coins Reward | EXP Reward |
|---|---|
| Error creating thumbnail: File missing 0 ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^1.3) + Error creating thumbnail: File missing 750 (Triumph Only) | Error creating thumbnail: File missing 100 EXP ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) |
Badges
[edit]There is a badge that you can obtain when playing this event, which may have additional rewards alongside them. These are:
Wave Structure
[edit]Tropical Isles had one wave bonus. The wave bonus was calculated as:
- From Waves 1–30:

Bolded names indicate an enemy type's debut.
An ellipsis (...) indicates the delay from one enemy to another is longer then 5 seconds.
A capital X indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is shorter than 0.5 seconds.
A hyphen inbetween the spawn amount (1-x) indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is longer than 1 second.
A hyphen next to the number amount (-1x) indicates the enemy starts spawning before the previous enemy has finished spawning in its set of enemies.

Trivia
[edit]- This event got its name from a Soundtrack with the same name.
- Wastewalker and Wasterunner are purposefully in this event due to its name, Waste Water Event.
- They look, and are out of place intentionally.
- Swamp Water is based on Swamper.
- The creator intentionally made Dispatcher call Swamp Water the Swamper on accident.
- The creator of this concept has not transitioned their Water Event Concept from their Notes to Google Docs.
- This is because the creator knows there's no point, as it won't be viewed anyways.
- The original concept made was instead gonna be a Summer Event Concept called the Sparkling Sun Event, but was scrapped due to the event being too complicated and the boss, being "The Sun", having too many abilities, being eleven.
- This event concept could've used enemies from the creator's Summer Event Concept, but it was a scrapped idea.
- Time-Bomb Water is slightly based on Explosive Ducky from the Ducky Revenge Event.
- As a result, they share the same wave debut, and Dispatcher's dialogue is slightly similar to the one from the Ducky Revenge Event.
- Dense Water's stats is based on Fallen Giant's old statistics, with an addition of shield health.
- As a result, the wave structures are the same, the only difference being the enemies.
- Sparkling Water is slightly based on Super Slime.
- Icicle Warrior slightly copies Fallen Tank.
- Icicle Warrior also slightly copies Operator Ducky, having Bloated one wave after their wave debut.
