―In-Game Description

Description

[edit]

Enemies Beta was a modifier that changed the appearance of certain enemies, replaces some enemies with different variants and changes statistics of some enemies.

Enemies Beta was active in all standard maps except Abyssal Trench, Black Spot Exchange, Candy Valley, Chess Board, Construction Crazy, Cyber City, Derelict Outpost, Dusty Bridges, Enchanted Forest, Gilded Path, Grass Isle, Hot Spot, Infernal Abyss, Moon Base, Musaceae Kingdom, Nether, Night Station, Retro Zone, Rocket Arena, Ruby Escort, Space City, Sugar Rush, Tropical Isles, Winter Abyss, Winter Stronghold, Wrecked Battlefield and Wrecked Battlefield II. It was also active in all community and special maps. It was also active in the Classic Candy Cane Lane, Classic Winter, Classic Forest Camp, Classic Island Chaos and Classic Castle event maps. By v2.0.0, all of its effects (being displayed in the bottom left corner, altering enemy spawns and statistics, changing enemy appearance) either got removed or made impossible to see in-game through normal means. Therefore, while these maps may still have it, due to its lack of any visible changes or any way to easily prove its existence in a map, it is considered removed on the wiki.

Enemy Appearances

[edit]

When active, Enemies Beta would change certain enemies to have different models and animations. These changes were only applied to legacy versions of these enemies. The following enemies received a new appearance if the modifier was active:

Wave Layout

[edit]

The wave layout on all maps with Enemies Beta active was changed to be as follows:

Trivia

[edit]
  • When a legacy enemy with an Enemies Beta appearance spawned as a Boss, it would always use its Enemies Beta appearance for the Boss health bar.
    • Because of this, it was possible to see every Enemies Beta model in Sandbox mode if the player summons an enemy, like the Tank, as a Boss.
    • This does not mean that the enemy itself would use that appearance, only the health bar would.
    • The Mystery's Enemies Beta appearance could only be seen this way, as otherwise it gets replaced by the Breaker2.
  • As the Mystery was always replaced by the Breaker2 with Enemies Beta, it was impossible to see the full Enemies Beta appearance of the Mystery.

Update History

[edit]

Notes

[edit]
  1. As Enemies Beta replaced the Mystery with the Breaker2, it was not possible to see this appearance anymore in regular gameplay.
