- "For players who are experts at the game and want to test their limits."
- ―Gamemode Description
Description
[edit]Fallen mode, formerly called Insane mode, is one of the five main survival modes. Fallen mode has 40 waves. When the Hidden Wave is activated it has 41 waves, along with six acts. The mode is named after the Fallen enemies that appear throughout it.
Cash is only gained if an enemy is killed, or in some cases, damaged by a specific amount of health. Additionally, the amount gained is a set amount of cash, which is not always equal to the enemy's health. It uses a slightly different method of distributing cash between players, as enemies split their cash between players, regardless of how much damage the player dealt to it. If, in a duo, one player does all the damage to an enemy, both players will receive 50% of the cash the enemy would normally give in solo. This means that in solo, you receive 100% of the cash when an enemy is killed, or it is damaged enough. With each additional player, this is reduced to 50% in duo, 33% in trio and 25% in quad. If it is a decimal, it gets rounded up or down depending on the decimal value. If it is at least 0.5, it gets rounded up. If it is less than 0.5, it gets rounded down. For example, the Templar gives Error creating thumbnail: File missing$10,000 when killed in solo, Error creating thumbnail: File missing$5,000 in duo, Error creating thumbnail: File missing$3,333 in trio and Error creating thumbnail: File missing$2,500 in quad between the players that damaged it.
The health of enemies in this mode scales with the player count, starting at three players. The increase 10% in trio and 20% in quad, with an added set amount of health added on top of that increase. It is applied after attributes, like Bloated, meaning they can affect the health of an enemy. The first increase is not always the stated amount, while the second increase has a varied amount it increases health by, both affected by enemy health.
You can activate the Hidden Wave by following these certain steps, though currently it is disabled and is not meant to appear:
- Every player has to disable Skills before starting the match.
- After voting Fallen mode, sending separate messages that contain these numbers in the chat: "120", "1", "1009" and "The Creator Awaits". On the last message, the screen will flash multiple colors and a loud laughing noise will play. Eye Of The Swarm will play on Waves 30-39 and 41 instead of 39 and 41.
- The base health should be set to one before reaching to Wave 40.
- Defeat the Fallen King under 60 seconds without using consumables on Wave 40. If done successfully instead of dropping its sword and vanishing in a beam of light, it will survive, but smashing the ground enraged and retreating with its sword.
- After completing Hidden Wave, the icon of Fallen mode on the difficulty select screen will change to the Awakened Fallen King.
Rewards
[edit]Rewards are calculated as:

Triumphing Fallen mode can give out an additional reward, which can be a crate, consumable or ticket. They are meant to be guaranteed, though due to a bug this does not always happen. These items are:

Enemies
[edit]Wave Structure
[edit]Currently, Fallen Mode has two wave bonuses, based on the current wave. Between waves 1 to 22, the wave bonus is calculated as:
- Error creating thumbnail: File missing$300 + ([Waves Completed - 1] × Error creating thumbnail: File missing$60)^1.05
Between waves 22 and 40, it is calculated as:
- Error creating thumbnail: File missing$300 + ([Waves Completed + 1] × Error creating thumbnail: File missing$60)^1.325
Depending on player count, the wave bonus is reduced using multipliers. These multipliers are:
| Players | Reduction per Player | Total Reduction |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | 0% | 0% |
| Duo | 10% | 20% |
| Trio | 12.5% | 37.5% |
| Quad | 15% | 60% |
The waves in Fallen mode follow these timings:
| Waves | Wave Timer | Skip Time[1] |
|---|---|---|
| 1-17 | 1:00 | 0:19[2] |
| 18-19 | 1:15 | 0:19[3] |
| 20-22 | 1:00 | 0:19[2] |
| 23 | 1:15 | 0:19[3] |
| 24 | 1:00 | 0:19[2] |
| 25 | 1:10 | 0:19[4] |
| 26 | 1:15 | 0:19[3] |
| 27-29 | 1:00 | 0:19[2] |
| 30-37 | 1:20 | 0:19[5] |
| 38 | 1:30 | 0:19[6] |
| 39 | 2:00 | 0:19[7] |
| 40 | ∞ | N/A |
Bolded names indicate an enemy type's debut.
An ellipsis (...) indicates the delay from one enemy to another is longer then 5 seconds.
A capital X indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is shorter than 0.5 seconds.
A hyphen inbetween the spawn amount (1-x) indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is longer than 1 second.
A hyphen next to the number amount (-1x) indicates the enemy starts spawning before the previous enemy has finished spawning in its set of enemies.
Hidden Wave
[edit]There were six significant "acts" in Hidden Wave, defined by every 5 minute pause that is inbetween every act from acts 1-4, though you can get Act 5A by killing Awakened Fallen King in less than 1,009 seconds and by killing the Creator in under 900 seconds. If one, or both, criterias are not met, the player will face Act 5B, which is intentionally made to be impossible as a punishment. Once every enemy is killed on the map, excluding summoned enemies, the act proceeds to the next one. On the final act, all enemies, including summoned enemies, must be despawned from the map to triumph Hidden Wave. The list below will list each individual enemy spawned, superseded by other enemies that spawn in between.

Trivia
[edit]- Wave 16 is supposed to be easy in difficulty, as Wave 17 is difficult.
- This is because of Fallen during the Fallen Foes Update, where Wave 18 is easy, while Wave 19 is difficult.
- Wave 32 is supposed to be a true challenge, because of Wave 31 in Fallen mode during the Fallen Foes Update.
