Description

The Frostfire Event, also known as Frost-Fire, Frost Fire, FrostFire, or Fiery Freeze, is an event concept on the Tower Defense Simulator Wiki. It would reward Coin300 and Experience100 EXP on Easy difficulty, and the Lava Plasm Tower on Hard difficulty.

The event started on May 8th, 2026 at 12:00 UTC and ended on December 4th, 2026 at 12:00 UTC.

Cash was only gained if an enemy was killed, or in some cases, damaged by a specific amount of health. Additionally, the amount gained was a set amount of cash, which was not always equal to the enemy's health. In solo, you received 100% of the cash when an enemy was killed, or if it was damaged enough. With each additional player, this decreased by 12.5%, which meant that in a quad, you only got 50% of the cash. This amount was distributed between players based on how much damage they dealt. However, if a player did not deal any damage, they would receive 0%. If it was a decimal, it got rounded up or down depending on the decimal value. If it was at least 0.5, it got rounded up. If it was less than 0.5, it got rounded down.

Enemies spawn on all paths instead of being separated throughout the paths due to the All Paths modifier, Enemies increase their health by 5% with each wave due to the Mutation modifier, the base health is locked to 100 due to the HP Locked modifer, and the Farm is useless, due to the Farm Banned modifier.

Interestingly, as this concept was a suggestion, there is no legacy version of this concept.

Design & Path

Outpost INFERNAL had four stages, all of which did not share the same path layout, with the first two stages having four paths, and the last two stages having three paths. On Hard difficulty, all four stages have a faint cyan vignette on screen, which, after reaching the third stage, changed to a red vignette on screen. In Easy difficulty, this is not seen.

Phase 1

The first stage took place in Outpost 32 from Waves 0-9, a research facility surrounded by snow and ice. The map was split into two different parts. The first part was a mostly empty area with a single building, a few watchtowers, multiple trees and cliffs. Multiple other buildings in the background, a few containers and a portal to other dimensions, which had a deactivated Artificial God Cube next to it. The second part of the map was the facility itself, which was surrounded by high grey walls, which had a few towers in it. This area had three main entrances, blocked off by green barriers. Multiple watch towers, containers and lamps were in the facility. There is a faint cyan vignette on screen.

The path started at the portal and ended at a gate inside the facility. Initially, the map started out with one path, though on Wave 2 and there on afterwards, the other two paths would be used.

Phase 2

The second stage took place in the first stage of Krampus Frosthold from Waves 10-19, a snow-blanketed town with Christmas and other holiday decorations scattered around the houses and paths (gifts, string lights, snowfall, etc.) Many of the houses had lights on in the windows suggesting that the town is inhabited by townsfolk celebrating the holidays. Additionally, there was a large Christmas tree in the center of the map with many icy cliffs nearby for cliff towers. The first stage occurred from waves 0-9.

In Hard difficulty, upon reaching Wave 15, 1 Siege Engine will appear on each side, making half of the enemies spawn in the Siege Engines, while the other half still spawn in the entrance. They will have the No Target and Full Immunity attributes. In Easy difficulty, this does not happen.

Phase 3

The third stage took place in Hot Spot from Waves 20-29, a desert-like wasteland map featuring multiple lava lakes formed by leaking pipes, and scattered debris including broken lampposts, electrical poles, pipes and industrial wreckage. There are two buildings on this map, one is a burning burning with a broken roof and lava visible on the inside and a small boarded up gas station. The entrances start at:

  • The Middle Entrance is a glowing green portal with a digital appearance.
  • The Left Entrance is a dilapidated gas station with windows barricaded by wooden planks.
  • The Right Entrance is a metal building emitting flames from its broken roof.

They all end at an entrance to an underground vault, and this is where the cyan vignette turns red.

Phase 4

The fourth and final stage took place in Infernal Abyss from Waves 30-40, a city partially flooded by lava and is now on two islands. The buildings do not appear to be destroyed, though some of them are in a large lava pool or sunken into the ground. Multiple giant statues can be found across the map, some on the islands while others are in the lava pool. There are three large red stones floating in the sky that can be found on the corners of the map. There are four giant tentacles on the first island.

The three paths start at the tentacles and end at a cave. These maps take multiple turns, avoiding natural terrain. The left and middle paths intersect first, and then all three paths intersect near the stone bridge. The path then goes over a stone bridge between two islands. The left and middle path have a very similar length, while the right path is a bit longer than both.

Wave Structures

Wave Structures only count for the enemies on an individual path, not for all enemies that spawn.
Boss enemies are not duplicated and show up only one.

Bolded names indicate an enemy type's debut.
An ellipsis (...) indicates the delay from one enemy to another is longer then 5 seconds.
A capital X indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is shorter than 0.5 seconds.
A hyphen inbetween the spawn amount (1-x) indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is longer than 1 second.
A hyphen next to the number amount (-1x) indicates the enemy starts spawning before the previous enemy has finished spawning in its set of enemies.

Trivia

  • The map name, Outpost INFERNAL, is a mix of the two maps Outpost 32 and Infernal Abyss.
  • The event duration from May 8th to December 4th is a reference to the date of the Frost Invasion Event, which lasted for as long.
  • This concept was a suggestion, which you can see here.
  • Su-Present is a portmanteau of the words "super" and "present".
  • This event, along with the Frozen Frenzy Event, have multiple similarites. Most, if not all, being:
    • They are both Christmas/Winter themed events.
    • They have multiple stages.
    • They use the same enemies.
    • When shortened, they are both called "FF".
    • They both have Easy and Hard difficulties, unlike other concepts.
    • They both reward custom towers.
  • When ??? says "THOSE FIVE", they are referring to the Brute, the Grave Digger, Patient Zero, the Molten Warlord, and the Fallen King.
  • Dialogues from Waves 21-23 was originally going to be fit in only one, being Wave 21, but was split across waves, as it looked way too long to fit in one Wave.
  • As soon as the word "ANNIHILATE" is written out in the Dialogue on Wave 24, all enemies that appear before the Moltens instantly die, regardless of health and/or how close they are to the base.
  • Wave 26 is based on Wave 24 Molten Mode
  • There were gonna be an instance of one, or both narrators, Dispatcher and Commander, were going to have their memory wiped.
  • This is the first event concept to use italics in Dialogue.
  • Upon ??? saying its second line of Dialogue on Wave 40, all Commanders on the map get automatically stunned for 1 minute and 30 seconds, regardless of placement. Ability cooldowns are also increased by 25% for 2 minutes.
  • This is the biggest event concept by this creator yet, as this beats the Frozen Frenzy Event by 2,000+ bytes. Being 68,000+ bytes as the Frozen Frenzy Event is only 66,000+ bytes.
