[edit]The Flying Fiends Event is an event concept on the Tower Defense Simulator Wiki. It would reward Error creating thumbnail: File missing 750 and Error creating thumbnail: File missing 200 EXP.
The event started on July 15th, 2025 at 8:00 UTC and ended on July 22nd, 2025 at 12:00 UTC.
Cash was only gained if an enemy was killed, or in some cases, damaged by a specific amount of health. Additionally, the amount gained was a set amount of cash, which was not always equal to the enemy's health. In solo, you received 100% of the cash when an enemy was killed, or if it was damaged enough. With each additional player, this decreased by 12.5%, which meant that in a quad, you only got 50% of the cash. This amount was distributed between players based on how much damage they dealt. However, if a player did not deal any damage, they would receive 0%. If it was a decimal, it got rounded up or down depending on the decimal value. If it was at least 0.5, it got rounded up. If it was less than 0.5, it got rounded down.
Enemies increase their health by 6.5% with each wave due to the Mutation modifier.
Interestingly, there is no legacy version of this concept.
Design & Path
[edit]Sky Wonderland takes place at the Sky Islands, in the sky with the path spanning three distinct islands. There are also two other minor islands and multiple floating rocks. There is a stream on one of the minor islands that falls out of the map. Clouds can be seen dotted around the map. Multiple trees are planted across the map on the grassy parts of the map. On sand, blossom trees are planted instead. A pink-red windmill made of candy and sweets can also be seen on top of the exit. There are also red and orange bridges made of candy which connect the main islands.
The red and orange candy path starts and ends at colorful caves, made up of blue, red, pink, yellow, purple, and green. It takes multiple turns and goes across the bridges.
Rewards
[edit]Rewards are calculated as:
| Coins Reward | EXP Reward |
|---|---|
| Error creating thumbnail: File missing 250 ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^1.3) + Error creating thumbnail: File missing 500 (Triumph Only) | Error creating thumbnail: File missing 200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) |
Triumphing Flying Fiends can give out an additional reward, which can be a crate, consumable or ticket. These items are:
- Common (50%)
- Grenade (5-8)
- Napalm Strike (4-7)
- Uncommon (45%)
- Error creating thumbnail: File missing 1,500
- Sugar Rush (4-7)
- Rare (5%)
- Error creating thumbnail: File missing 100
- UAV (5-8)
Badges
[edit]There is a badge that you can obtain when playing this event, which may have additional rewards alongside them. These are:
Wave Structure
[edit]Sky Wonderland had one wave bonus. The wave bonus was calculated as:
- From Waves 1–30:
- Error creating thumbnail: File missing$500 + ([Waves Completed - 1] × Error creating thumbnail: File missing$300)^1.2
Enemies
[edit]The waves in Flying Fiends could be skipped. They follow these timings:
| Waves | Wave Timer | Skip Time[2] |
|---|---|---|
| 1-4 | 1:00 | 0:19[3] |
| 5-12 | 1:10 | 0:19[4] |
| 13-17 | 1:30 | 0:29[5] |
| 18-19 | 0:50 | 0:29[6] |
| 20-29 | 2:30 | 0:49[7] |
| 30 | ∞ | N/A |
Bolded names indicate an enemy type's debut.
An ellipsis (...) indicates the delay from one enemy to another is longer then 5 seconds.
A capital X indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is shorter than 0.5 seconds.
A hyphen inbetween the spawn amount (1-x) indicates the spawn delay from one enemy is longer than 1 second.
A hyphen next to the number amount (-1x) indicates the enemy starts spawning before the previous enemy has finished spawning in its set of enemies.

Trivia
[edit]- All enemies in this event are returning enemies, and none are original, this is intentional.
- Wave 18's Wave Structure is based on Pizza Party's Wave 28 Wave Structure.
- Wave 30's Wave Structure is also based on Bathroom Approach's Wave 33 Wave Structure.
- This event does not have any dialogue.
- This is intentional, as the creator believes it'd make the event look too janky and too disorienting.
- The first version of the thumbnail is much different than the second (and current) thumbnail.
- This is because, in the making of the first thumbnail, the creator disconnected from their game and had to start again.
- For the enemies, the enemies would be Balloon Kid, Voodoo Doll, Fallen Seraph, Fallen Angel, Missile Ducky and the head of Nerd Duck's rabbit mech.
- Currently, it is Balloon Kid, Voodoo Doll, Crying Angel, Fallen Angel, Missile Ducky and Witch.
- For the towers, the towers would be Ranger, Biologist, Rifleman, Golden Crook Boss, and Pursuit.
- Currently, it is Hallow Punk, Firework Technician, Biologist, and Phantom Engineer.
