He's such a charmer!"

Description
[edit]The Null Guardian was an entity which roamed the Nil Zone.
He was the warden of the Outer Nil Zone, at some point appointed to this role by the Rift Walker. He patrolled the area in search of anyone banished here by him, which he would execute.
Personality
[edit]Due to his limited appearance, there was very little information on his personality. The Null Guardian appeared to be very dedicated, as he has managed to uphold his duty of being the Outer Nil Zone's guardian for what can be assumed to be ages.
The Null Guardian has memory issues caused by his cloning ability, which made him reliant on his connection to chaotic energy to remember who he was.[1]
Abilities & Characteristics
[edit]| Abilities | |
|---|---|
| Cloning: The Null Guardian was capable of cloning himself using the fragments of his memories. This, however, came at a cost of him losing his memories.[2] | |
| Other | |
| Connection to The Nil Zone: The Null Guardian was connected to the Nil Zone's chaotic energy, which let him experience its history.[3] This was used by him to cope with the memory loss caused by his cloning, making him reliant on the Nil Zone to remember who he was.[1] | |
| The Rift Walker's Failsafe: The Rift Walker had placed a failsafe onto the Null Guardian, which, in the event of his death, would teleport his killer to the Rift Walker himself to deal with them. This failsafe was shown at the end of Banlands, teleporting the Narrator and the T.D.S. agents to the Rift Walker's location. | |
Story
[edit]Unknown
[edit]The Null Guardian is recruited at one point by the Rift Walker to patrol the Outer Nil Zone.
Null & Void
[edit]During the Null & Void Event, the Null Guardian caught Titus and started carrying him to the Outer Nil Zone. There, he runs into the Narrator and multiple T.D.S. Organization agents, with the former slapping Titus away. With his initial target gone, he instead set his sight on the T.D.S. Organization and the Narrator, leading to a temporary alliance between the two.
The Null Guardian is eventually defeated, which leads to a failsafe activating in his body that redirected the T.D.S. Organization and Narrator to the Rift Walker.

Trivia
[edit]- The Logbook description for the Null Guardian enemy states that the Null Guardian was in the Nil Zone ever since before the Old World.[4] However, through The Final Act Event, it is revealed that the Nil Zone is what remains of the Old World, making what the Logbook claims extremely implausible.[5]
