Description

Patient Zero is the main antagonist of Intermediate mode in Tower Defense Simulator, and according to the game's storyline, he is the mastermind behind Serum Zero and the orchestrator of the zombie apocalypse.

He was once a human virologist named Dr. Herrschaft, but after experimenting on himself with Serum Zero, he transformed himself into a zombie, later being dubbed "Patient Zero" by the T.D.S. Organization.

Personality

Patient Zero can be concluded to be an extremely mentally unstable individual from his appearance in the Patient Zero trailer, given from the fact that he supposedly locked away his zombified coworkers in experiment rooms within the Oasis X Enterprise laboratory, and also from the fact that his prime motive for orchestrating the zombie apocalypse is from his seeming hatred of humanity for abusing the environment of the Overworld.

It is unknown if Patient Zero was as psychotic as he was in his past, but it can still be assumed that he harbored either a level of malice or indifference to human lives, as in his past he was discovered to be secretly experimenting on hospital patients.

Bio-enhancement: Since Serum Zero is compared to other bio-enhancing drugs produced by Oasis X Enterprise, it could be assumed that Serum Zero was originally supposed to be another bio-enhancing serum before it was repurposed by Patient Zero into his zombification formula. It would be fair to assume that the original bio-enhancing properties of Serum Zero would be kept, giving zombies, and therefore Patient Zero, an array of superhuman physical traits.	"Not listed here are our standard stabalizers used in other chemical Bio-enhancing serums."
Zombification: Patient Zero's condition of being a zombie is unique compared to others, mainly that he underwent zombification while he was still alive, unlike other zombies that have seemingly been reanimated by Serum Zero, if they are presumed to be undead. Story

Unknown

Patient Zero, back when he was known as Dr. Herrschaft, used to work at a hospital as a virologist. His work led him to study viruses that were thousands of years old, one virus of note caused the rapid repairing and multiplication of damaged cells. However, he was fired from the hospital after it was discovered that he was experimenting on patients.

Dr. Herrschaft eventually loses his license and subsequently all of his research, however, the T.D.S. Organization takes possession of some of it for their own use. It was after this time that Dr. Herrschaft moved back to his hometown to continue work on the cell multiplication virus.

Employment at Oasis X Enterprise

It was most likely after his firing that Dr. Herrschaft had joined, or was recruited by Oasis X Enterprise, where he would work with his fellow scientists to synthesize the prototypes of Serum Zero. Accidental exposure to these prototypes led several scientists to be transformed into Ghouls. Other zombies such as Reavers, Failed Experiments and Living Experiments would have also been created from these prototypes.

The virus responsible for zombification was most likely introduced into Serum Zero during his time working with Oasis X Enterprise. It is is unknown how Dr. Herrschaft's coworkers or Oasis X Enterprise would have responded to this development, but given that his coworkers are mysteriously absent up to the time of the Patient Zero trailer, it can be concluded that Dr. Herrschaft had experimented on all of them.

Patient Zero Trailer

Dr. Herrschaft manages to mysteriously acquire a God Cube fragment, which he uses to perfect the final version of Serum Zero. He then tests the final version of himself, transforming into Patient Zero.

Patient Zero releases Serum Zero in various cities, beginning the zombie apocalypse.

Hacker Trailer

Patient Zero attempts to have his zombies release Serum Zero in Cyber City, but they are stopped by the T.D.S. Organization.

Intermediate Mode

The T.D.S. Organization fights off a horde of zombies, culminating in the appearance of Patient Zero on the battlefield, where he is promptly defeated by them, and his God Cube fragment, presumably the same one he used to synthesize Serum Zero, is taken away from his hands.
