Victory Field - Story
This is the story subpage for Victory Field. It contains information about the cutscenes and an overview of the story.
This page contains the official story elements included in the third mission of the Backyard Legends Event. Most of the content is expressed through cutscenes, though some dialogue is important to the storyline.
Story Overview
The story of this map happens after Competition Court.
Clive, Isaak and Ruthie talk while the match goes on in the same fashion as the previous maps. Once the final wave is over, Clive, Isaak and Ruthie are standing on the court victorious over the opponent team consisting of the Soccer Speedy, Whistle and Goal Keeper. The crowd is cheering while this is happening. Noticing that the opponent team is feeling down, Clive comes up to them and offers them a rematch.
The Dispatcher sees this and realizes it was never about the winning. The Commander comes to a similar conclusion, but believes that it was only slightly about the winning. The match then starts, Isaak lets the ball go to Clive who kicks it towards Ruthie. She then fires the ball at the goal, ending the map's story.
