This is the story subpage for Outpost 32 (Operation I.C.E). It contains information about the cutscenes and an overview of the story.

This page contains the official story elements included in Outpost 32 of Operation I.C.E Event. Most of the content is expressed through cutscenes, though some dialogue is important to the storyline.

Story Overview

The events in this map take place after the Tower Defense Simulator x PLS DONATE Event.

The story starts off with Ted, the janitor at Outpost 32 who is actually Sentinel Ramiel in disguise, playing with his broom like a guitar rather than actually cleaning anything. While doing so, an intern comes into the hallway, dropping a piece of paper. Ramiel orders him to pick it up, scaring him. The intern runs into the portal control room and Ramiel picks up the piece of paper himself.

Inside the portal control room, we see two scientists, Analyst and Professor V working at a super computer. On the screens, there are three cameras, one pointed at the Outpost 32 portal, which shows it being connected to the Pls Donate realm despite the actual portal being at that time turned off, while the two other show a gate and the reactor silo present on the facility. Professor V suggests a few ways to improve the portals, but Analyst dismisses the suggestions as being too dangerous.

An alarm starts, meaning that the portal has been opened when it should have been closed. The camera then shows the portal opening to the Pls Donate realm. Out of the portal, players, Commander and Scout return from their mission of saving the Pls Donate realm from collapsing. Out of the four, the Scout comes out with a bag of robux, suggesting he likely stole it from the realm. However, rather than being in the correct base, they end up in Outpost 32.

The issues with the portal were caused by Sentinel Ramiel as part of the Operation I.C.E (Intercept Commander and Eliminate). After informing someone on the radio that the Commander has arrived at the base, he proceeds to rip off his disguise and runs into the portal control room, attacking the three people present there. The Intern manages to escape, while Analyst and Professor V are knocked out by Ramiel.

Ramiel then redirects the portal to the Frost Realm using a keycard. After realizing the portal has been redirected, the T.D.S. Organization agents from the Pls Donate mission start running towards the base. The Dispatcher also sends in more units to help defend against the incoming forces. Ramiel then announces that Operation I.C.E has been completed.

The T.D.S. Organization then fights off the Frost Army. During the battle, the Frost Realm enemies bombard the area and send in Siege Engines, allowing them to move further into Outpost 32. The forces stop advancing at the gates of the Outpost 32. During the invasion, Dispatcher and Professor V can be heard discussing the invasion. There we can find out that somehow, Professor V has left the portal control room and is afraid to go back into it. This, however, contradicts the cutscenes, where Professor V never escapes and even returns from the area where she was knocked back to by Ramiel. Additionally, the room was locked, meaning the only way she could have left is through the vents which is quite unlikely.

Around the end of the invasion, the two unnamed cultists walk up to a coffin in a chamber. One of the cultists, using a staff powered by a God Cube fragment taken from the Primordial Drakobloxxer decide to awaken the being inside the coffin. This turns out to be the Frost Spirit, who the cultists order to attack the T.D.S. Organization. The entity listens to them, summons its scythe and begins flying towards Outpost 32.

The T.D.S. Organization defeats the Frost Spirit, however, he is banished into the Nil Zone after his defeat[1], only leaving a crater and a few chains. Ramiel, while complaining about the strength of the Frost Realm beings is interrupted by Professor V. She begins to hold him at gun point, ordering him to give her the keycard. The two then begin talking, which mostly consists of one insulting the other. Eventually, Ramiel does give Professor V the keycard and then escapes through an open vent in the room. Two Outpost 32 guards then come in, forcefully opening the portal control room door with a crowbar. However, they only find Professor V inside, as Ramiel has already escaped. The map's story ends with Professor V taking the keycard.

Opening Cutscene

Operation I.C.E Cutscene 1-2

This cutscene plays when the timer counts down to 0:00 before the game starts. The map has not yet changed, and the player's point of view is changed to a full screen third person view of the cutscene when the cutscene begins.

Synopsis

The following summarizes the events shown in the opening cutscene.

Synopsis

Sentinel Ramiel enters a building disguised as a janitor, takes a mop and then starts doing an air guitar while singing out of tune. While doing so, an intern scientist enters the hallway and encounters him. While getting distracted, he drops a piece of paper on the ground, which angers Sentinel Ramiel, causing him to scream at the intern. The intern then runs away scared into the portal control room. Sentinel Ramiel then picks up that piece of paper.

The cutscene then moves into the portal control room, where Analyst and Professor V discuss how to improve their portals. Shortly later, an alarm goes off, indicating that a portal is being activated. This was not done by them and they are unable to disable it. Then the Commander, Scout and one player are shown leaving the portal, coming back from them recently being in Pls Donate where they dealt with Corrupted Haz3mn, though Outpost 32 is not where they should be.

After this, it is revealed that this was caused by the Children of Exo. After informing others of the Commander's arrival, Sentinel Ramiel destroys his disguise and enters the portal control room. He then starts fighting with Analyst and Professor V, easily defeating them. After beating them, Sentinel Ramiel uses a card to change the portal's destination from Pls Donate to the Frost Realm.

The Commander, Scout and the player after realizing the portal is now set up to connect with another dimension start running away from it to the Outpost 32, later pulling out their weapons with the intent of fighting whatever comes out of it.

Professor V: Amplify the energy output!

Analyst: That will blow us up! The shards are too unpredictable and even now we barely even understand how they work!

An alarm activates, indicating that a portal is being opened.

Professor V: The portal is opening? It shouldn't be tethered to anything!

Analyst: This isn't good! Something is stopping me from deactivating it!

Camera moves to the portal, showing the Commander, Scout and one player leaving it after dealing with the situation in Pls Donate.

Dispatcher: Your trackers are showing you at Outpost 32. What are you guys doing at our portal research base?

Ramiel: Target arrived as planned, lets wipe this place off the map!

Later, the hall next to the portal control room is shown, where two guards come in to open the portal control room doors by force with the use of crowbars. While doing so, Sentinel Ramiel manages to escape the room using an open vent in the room. Professor V then picks up the dropped keycard.

Script

The following is a script-based transcription of the events shown in the ending cutscene.

Script

The screen shows the portal control room and then moves inside it, showing Sentinel Ramiel.

Ramiel: Why is everything so... WEAK?!?!?!

Ramiel: (Grumbles)

Ramiel: But not as weak as them.

Professor V appears and points a gun at Sentinel Ramiel.

Professor V: Drop the keycard...

Ramiel: (Chuckles heartily) Well, look at you!

Ramiel: Here I thought no one will show me some fangs, but I guess you're a bit different ain't ya?

Professor V: Knock it off. Your back is against the wall and that sorry excuse of a plan has failed.

Professor V: If anything, you and your posse of losers are the weakest I've seen.

Professor V: I've set my bar low, but I guess not low enough.

Ramiel: Heh... So you'd think...

Professor V: Tell me, how'd you do it?

Ramiel: You'd patronize me even when you've lost your outpost?

Ramiel: Careful, bravery is often confused for stupidity.

Ramiel: The Frost Spirit served its purpose. Like bees, if you take the Queen you can control the hive.

Sentinel Ramiel points at the screen, showing that the Frost Spirit has disappeared. One of the players is looking at the crates left by it, while Commander and Scout walk up to it.

Ramiel: It was only a matter of giving them a portal to the overworld and a target.

Ramiel: But enough of that, it looks like my time is up.

Screen now shows Sentinel Ramiel and Professor V again.

Professor V: It sure is. Although, I have to thank you for figuring out cross-realm travel for us.

Professor V: I feel like I'm cheating on a test.

Professor V: Now drop it big boy.

Ramiel: (Sighs) Fine then. Take it!

Screen changes to the hall, showing two guards walk up to the portal control room in order to forcefully open it with crowbars.

Guard 1: The culprit's in the portal control room. Get that door open.

Guard 2: (Grunt)

Screen shows a vent, showing how Sentinel Ramiel escaped. Then it moves to the ground, showing Professor V picking up the keycard.

Professor V: Now lets see what secrets you're hiding, little guy.

Trivia

  • The cutscenes have some inconsistency with the in-game dialogues, such as:
    • In the Opening Cutscene, Analyst and Professor V are knocked down by Sentinel Ramiel, but in-game, she is conscious and elsewhere inside the Outpost, narrating the event with Dispatcher. Some of her dialogues which show that she is elsewhere include "I'm terrified to head to my office." and "I've got what I needed and I'm heading back to the control room."
    • In the Ending Cutscene, Professor V is seen waking up after being knocked down and grabs a gun from the locker she was knocked down and points it at Sentinel Ramiel, which contradicts to the in-game dialogues being elsewhere and heading back to the control room, as the control room is locked down and two guards are seen rushing into it later, brute forcing the locked doors.
