Summary

Harbor is an island map that is completely surrounded by water. It is one of the older maps of the game, but has received a few minor changes, along with a remake, since its addition.

This map is included in the map rotation for Hardcore mode, as well as the regular map rotation for normal gameplay.

Harbor has the Enemies Beta modifier, which changes the appearance of some enemies, replaces some enemies with other enemies and changes stats of some enemies.

Design & Path

<tabber> |-|Current = Placeholder |-|Version 3 = The third version of Harbor was an industrial island. It resembled a trading island, with two harbor piers at each end and a warehouse in the middle of the map. Two boats were seen docked to the island, with various containers being scattered around the map. Tall floodlights and container cranes could also be seen.
The grey stone path effectively went around the perimeter of the map with a straight cutback through the middle of the map, past the warehouse. |-|Version 2 = The second version of Harbor is identical to the third version, except baseplate water surrounded the map, instead of terrain water. |-|Version 1 = The first version of Harbor was identical to the third version of this map, except that the skybox was brighter. </tabber>

Strategy

  • Cliff spots are scattered everywhere on the shipping containers. The best spot is the one on the middle ship.
    • Cliff towers can cover most of the map from this spot, making them quite useful.
    • However, the Mortar should not be used as it is very inaccurate on this map, the projectile will land infront of the enemy, dealing no damage to the targeted enemy as the explosion does not reach it.
      • If you do decide to use Mortar, it is best to set it to Last on this map, as when there is a horde of enemies and Mortar attacks the last enemy, the projectile will land somewhere in the horde. Do note that this does not guarantee that Mortar will always hit an enemy.
  • You are unable to place ground towers on the ship enemies spawn from.

Trivia

  • After the MEGA Update, this map was slightly remade, though not as heavily as some other maps (like Forest Camp).
  • On past versions of the map, an ingrained dog image could have been seen on the side of the island.
  • On past versions of the map, one of the ships was named "Dog Academy (babs & elijah)" after the creators of the map.
