Description

[edit]

Mount Amillion was a map of long length, which possessed a feeble amount of placements, rendering the map difficult to beat.

Design & Path

[edit]

Mount Amillion took place on a mountain range with sheer cliff faces. Clouds surrounded the entire map, with some high mountains sticking out the clouds. There appeared to be human habitation amongst the natural features, with a wooden bridge linking cliff faces, some metal barriers and a metal mountain outpost. Some cliffs were covered in grey sand while crystals could also be seen sticking out of cliffs. Spots to place ground towers were very sparse and normally away from the path. This greatly increased the difficulty of the map. However, cliff spots were plentiful around the map.

The grey slate path began and ended at two caves. The path had very few turns but was fairly long.

Strategy

[edit]
  • There are very few ground spots on this map that the average tower could reach the path from. The few good spots are notably at the start of the path.
    • It is very likely you have to take advantage of long-range towers such as the John.
    • Commanders are useful for boosting the firerate of the limited towers you do have, as the Commander itself does not need to reach the path.
  • Cliff towers are very useful on this map due to their range and relative abundance of cliff spots around the map.
    • However, you cannot boost the DPS of these towers with the John or Commander as their range cannot reach cliff spots.
  • The Military Base, Crook Boss and Enforcer can be very useful as they spawn units, which are not restricted by the lack of ground tower space.

Trivia

[edit]
  • The original version featured floating islands in the bottom right, which were later removed when the map was added to the game.
