Description

[edit]

Retro Stained Temple is a nighttime map that takes place on a gilded forest. It is a version of Stained Temple stylized after old Roblox.

Design & Path

[edit]

Retro Stained Temple takes place on a circular-shaped island in the middle of the void, with a temple on it. In the temple, there are many gilded cliffs around the map, one with a statue on top of it, and a few grey spawn points. The temple is surrounded by gilded pillars and grey cliffs.

The path starts at the green portal and ends at the red portal.

Rewards

[edit]

The game calculates how many Coin Coins, Gem Gems and Experience EXP you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more Experience EXP (Friday – Sunday), any Experience EXP earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any Experience EXP earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular Experience EXP boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Difficulty reward scaling for survival mode Coins and Exp is 0.85x.
Mode Coins/Gem Reward EXP Reward
Easy Coin 250 ÷ (1 + [(20 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^1.3) + Coin 50 (Triumph Only) Experience 50 EXP ÷ (1 + [(20 ÷ Current Wave) - 1])

Strategy

[edit]
  • There are a lot of good ground spots on this map, as this map's path bends a lot.
    • The Ace Pilot can be very useful because of its path, as it allows it to cover a portion of the path for most of its flight path.
  • There are a lot of cliff spots on this map, making cliff towers very useful here.
    • The cliff in the middle of the map allows cliffs towers to cover most of the path, making them even more useful.
  • You can place towers behind the entrance, this spot is especially useful to the Shotgunner as it enables it to pierce enemies more effectively.
