Description

Wrecked Battlefield II is a map that appears to take place after a battle, where trenches have been set up and destroyed vehicles are plentiful. It is a sequel to the Wrecked Battlefield map, though unlike similar maps like Badlands II, it did not replace it and instead exists alongside it.

This map is included in the map rotation for Hardcore mode, as well as the regular map rotation for normal gameplay.

Design & Path

Wrecked Battlefield ll takes place on a desolate battlefield with trenches and makeshift structures. The vegetation on the map is entirely gone, with there being no grass on the ground and the trees being burned down. A section of the map is also on fire. The entire map is covered in red haze, with multiple light red particles in the air. In the sky, a meteor shower can be seen, alongside a large red sun. Multiple objects can be found on the map, all being from a battle. These include swords, destroyed tanks and planes. Multiple lights can be seen next to the path. Multiple orbs are on the ground. Some of these orbs still work, having neon eyes and mouth while moving around, while others are broken, with their eyes and mouth being black.

The path starts and ends at a portal. The map takes a right turn and then a left turn, entering a loop. This loop leads to a u-turn, which ends with a left turn, ending at the exit.

Rewards

The game calculates how many Coin Coins, Gem Gems and Experience EXP you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more Experience EXP (Friday – Sunday), any Experience EXP earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any Experience EXP earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular Experience EXP boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Difficulty reward scaling for survival mode Coins and Exp is 1x.

Strategy

  • The loop present in this map can be a great spot for towers with low range, such as the Brawler, Warden, Electroshocker or Shotgunner.
    • It is also a great spot for the Ace Pilot while using its Circle flight path, as it allows it to cover a portion of the path at all times.
  • The wooden structures present on this map are cliff spots, though there are not many of them.
    • Cliff towers can, however, cover up most of the map when placed in those spots.

Trivia

  • Wrecked Battlefield II is the first map since the remakes of Grass Isle, Wrecked Battlefield, and Winter Bridges to not have the Enemies Beta modifier, as all other new maps released between v1.3.0 and v1.23.0 had the Enemies Beta modifier upon release.
  • Multiple destroyed vehicles can be found on this map, all of which are actually unreleased skins, though slightly altered.
    • The destroyed tanks that appear on this map are the Apocalyptic Railgun Tank skin, though with the gunner removed.
    • The destroyed planes that appears on this map are the Level 3 and Level 5 Hotshot Ace Pilot skin, though with their texture altered. Most noticeably, the stripes on the plane wings and multiple spades present on the planes were removed.
  • This map was originally a remake for Wrecked Battlefield, before being turned into its own map.
  • The map features 3 torches with a green glow, one around the turn near the enterence, one inside the loop and one at the loop near the exit. They flash simultaneously every second for a second.
  • Large pools of blood can be found at the fortifications around the map
