Skins

Skins are cosmetic overhauls of a tower, changing the tower's appearance. These changes can range from simple color swaps to entirely new models and animations, depending on the Skin. Some even grant unique appearances to the tower's units. No Skin grants any intentional statistical change to a tower. Almost all towers have at least a few Skins.

Skins are generally obtained from opening Skincrates. Opening a skincrate yields one Skin of a valid tower. As some skincrates are event-exclusive, their corresponding Skins are also such. Besides skincrates, Season Passes can also contain Skins. Skins are also obtained from the daily shop. Skins can also be obtained by certain codes. This can range from a code that is free for anyone to use to a code that is only obtainable by purchasing a real-life product, such as a toy. Certain Skins are only obtainable by completing a certain specific task, like triumphing a map under special conditions, or completing a Mission Quest. The Default appearance of a tower is also considered a skin.

Each Skin has a different rarity. This rarity determines the Skin's price in the daily shop, and also the chances for the Skin to be obtained when opening a skincrate.

For some Skins, mainly those from Season Passes, codes from real-life purchases and those gotten from completing tasks, they appear in the Gift Box menu to be claimed. This is here in case you have not obtained the tower for the corresponding Skin yet.

To equip a Skin, you must go into the Towers section of your inventory while in the lobby and select the specific tower you want to equip a Skin for.
