Cowboy

Revision as of 12:03, 6 August 2019 by imported>WikiaColors

Description

The Cowboy is a map unlocked tower that cannot be bought in the store. It can be gotten by triumphing Badlands or End of the Line. It must be played on Hard or Insane mode and cannot be gotten in Easy or Normal mode (Normal not confirmed).

It wears a cowboy hat and has clothing similar to that of a western style person. It also wields a Ruger Redhawk 44 Magnum.

While its firerate can initially be considered slow, it deals high damage. The range is, however, comparable smaller than other towers, such as the Minigunner. At maximum level, the Cowboy deals high damage for a somewhat fast firerate. The Gold Rush ability is also unlocked which means it can deal 65% more damage and have a chance to drop money bags for you, and only you, to collect. This means that, briefly, the Cowboy can surpass the Minigunner's DPS.

This tower is mostly considered a early game to mid-game tower.

Strategy

  • You may have to wait a while before placing the Cowboy down due to the fact it costs $650 to place down.
    • You will have to rely on your teammates during this time.
  • The Gold Rush, while helping gain more money, is rather redundant by the time it is gotten as you are likely to earn more money from damaging zombies than the ability.
    • It should only be used for its own personal damage buff.

Trivia

  • This is the only other economy tower with the other being the Farm.
