Description
Mark II was the second vehicle that spawned from the Mecha Base. It spawned when the Mecha Base was at Level 2. As with other units, it started from the end of the map path and moved towards the entrance of the map. The Mark II had a spawnrate of 60 seconds.
Mark II could attack enemies with its turret and rocket launcher.
Appearance
Mark II was a tall light blue mechanized walker. It had long mechanized legs and its operator sat at the top of the walker. The operator could shoot rockets from its launcher and bullets from its turret. A windscreen protects the operator. The operator itself had tan skin, its torso and legs were black, and it wore white goggles.
Strategy
- Mark II can easily wipe out hordes of enemies due to its high DPS and rocket launcher.
- On two-pathed maps, only one Mark II will spawn per Level 2 Mecha Base. It will go down a random path.
- Mark II can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss.
- However, Mark II's ranged damage is still affected by enemies with defense.
- As with other units, the firerate and range of Mark II cannot be boosted by the Commander or DJ Booth, respectively.
- Mark II will struggle against some enemies with abilities that damage units.
- For example, if the Unknown uses its Stomp attack, and a Mark II is caught in the attack, it is instantly destroyed, as the Stomp deals 1,000 damage.
- While Mark II can collide with Hiddens and Shadows, they cannot detect them.
- The Mark II cannot collide with ghost enemies, like the Soul.
- Mark II can collide with the Balloon and Lead Balloon.
- However, Mark II is instantly destroyed upon collision, and only the balloons on the respective enemies are destroyed. The enemies are still free to walk on the ground.
Trivia
- Mark II replaced the Armored XR601, which existed before Hardcore testing.
- Mark II was removed as it was only used to test units in Hardcore testing.
- The goggles worn by the operator inside Mark II are a re-textured version of the the Laser Spec Special Forces Goggles accessory from the Roblox catalog.
Update History
- 28 August 2020
- Mark II added to Hardcore testing.
- 29 October 2020
- Mark II removed.
