Freezer

Description

The Freezer is mainly a support tower that, as the name suggests, freezes certain zombies. It can be bought in the store for $1,000. It has a blue shirt, grey pants and carries a cryogun to give the appearance of cold.

It targets a single zombie (unless upgraded to burst where it will target three zombies) and will normally freeze them. However, it does not freeze most bosses unless you use its special ability, the Freeze Drop. Despite damaging zombies, this is mainly regarded as a support tower due to its low DPS and high utilisation of its ability.

At Level 2+, this will attack the first two (and later three) zombies in short bursts.

Level 5 • 75s Cooldown

Drops ice to the first zombies within the Freezer's range. Freezes all zombies, excluding major bosses, like Molten Boss (the Gravekeeper is an exception to this). Has a radius of about 10 studs. Lasts about 6 seconds.

Strategy

• Do not use the Freezer's ability if the zombies are under a roof. The ice will get stuck as it collides with the roof.
• Pairing a Sentry with a Freezer would allow the sentry to reach its maximum firerate.
• The Freezer's ability can be used to freeze zombies that cannot be frozen using the Freezer's basic freeze.
  • This cannot however freeze the Gold Titan, Molten Boss or the Frost Hero.
