Skin Trivia

  • The first and second version of the Default skin resembled YouTuber JOHN ROBLOX.
  • The first version of the Militant (known as John at the time) at level 3-5 used the M60 Machine Gun model from Left 4 Dead: 2.
  • The Ace Pilot skin is a reference to JOHN ROBLOX's obsession with Zero Two.
  • The Ace Pilot skin did not play any audio when the Gorilla Sounds ability was used.
  • When the Militant's (known as John at the time) appearance was updated on the 4th of March 2020, the upgrade icons did not change.
    • Most notably, the store icon of John still showed it wielding an M4A1.
    • Additionally, the Laser Sight and Improved Handling icons were swapped.
  • None of the lasers for the Desert Eagle were attached to the laser sight when the design of all the skins changed on the 4th of March 2020.
  • When released, the Level 5 Hazmat skin had a glitch, causing it to not fire. It would be automatically deleted after a few seconds.
    • Until the Overhaul Update, its idle animation was broken, causing a deformity to be seen.
  • Originally, the first version of Level 2 Pumpkin had a glitched yellow laser. It wouldn't be attached to the weapon but instead it would be sunk into the ground far below the actual tower.
    • The first version of it was also originally supposed to wield a Winchester rifle instead of an FN FAL, this however was never added.
      • The Winchester rifle would later be re-used for the old Redemption and Golden Cowboy skins.
  • The Militant has an unreleased Delinquent skin, originally meant to be released with the Arsenal x Tower Defense Simulator crossover event, which has never come into fruition.
  • The Chocolatier skin was based on a Valentines skin submission, the Chocolate Maker skin for the Militant.
  • The John skin is based on the Militant prior to the Overhaul Update when it was called John.
  • Interestingly, the Beach skin was called the Miami Militant in a development screenshot of the Gift Box menu.
  • The Star Spartan skin is based on the Space Marines from Warhammer 40k.
  • The Acheron skin is based on the United States Colonial Marine Corps from the Aliens franchise.
    • The weapon it uses at Level 0-2 is the M41A Pulse Rifle from the same franchise.

Roblox Catalog

  • The face for the second version of the Default skin was the Toughguy face in the Roblox catalog.
  • The Ace Pilot face is an edited version of the Super Super Happy Face face from the Roblox catalog.
    • The second to fourth versions of the skin used the Wink-Blink face from the Roblox catalog.
  • The hair used by the Ace Pilot skin is the Pink hair with red horns accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The Level 0-4 Pumpkin head is similar to the Sinister P. accessory from the Roblox catalog.
    • The Level 5 head is similar to the Sinister M. accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The chef hat used by the first two versions of the Default skin, second version of the Pumpkin skin and the John skin is the Gourmet Chef accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The beret used by all levels of the Default skin is a re-textured version of the 1st Battalion Red Devils Beret accessory from the Roblox catalog.
  • The pouches on the current Level 4 Militant are the Tactical Pouches from the Roblox catalog.
  • The Level 1-4 skull shoulder-pads used by the Pumpkin skin are the The Riddling Skull accessory from the Roblox catalog.
