Description

[edit]

The Corrupted Conserver was the second boss that appeared in Containment as part of the Hexscape Event. It was a corrupted version of the Conserver, making it stronger in most cases. It had a high amount of health though it walked quite slowly. It was also a Boss enemy, granting it multiple immunities, making it significantly harder to slow down.

The Corrupted Conserver had three abilities:

  1. Its first ability was Spirit Release, which made it fire out multiple skulls from its body. These stunned towers for 3 seconds while also applying a 40% Scared Debuff for 10 seconds, including non-humanoid towers. Towers would also have ghosts appear out of them.
  2. The second ability was Summon, which summoned ten Forsaken Skull with a 0.3 delay between each and seven Bloated Hex Revenants with a 0.8 delay, while also healing itself by 1,000.
  3. Its last ability, Void Smash made it slam its club on the ground, creating multiple thorns that stunned any tower hit for 4 seconds.

Appearance

[edit]

The Corrupted Conserver's body was made entirely out of what appears to be purple molten slag or lava. It wore black armor, which covered most of its body. Its helmet had multiple horns. Additionally, it had spikes seen around its head that resemble teeth. It wielded a black club with neon purple insides, which had three eyes on it.

Strategy

[edit]
  • High DPS Towers, such as the Accelerator, Engineer, Ranger and Golden Minigunner, are great choices when it comes to taking down the Corrupted Conserver. You should already have some of these towers placed down by the time the Corrupted Conserver arrives, which makes it less of a threat.
    • However, towers that are expensive to upgrade, such as the Turret, are not optimal against the Corrupted Conserver, due to it only giving CashScript error: No such module "Money". per 5% of its health lost. It is also not viable due to the limited space for towers to be placed.
    • The DJ Booth is especially useful against the Corrupted Conserver due to its discount track, while also buffing nearby towers damage and range.
    • The Commander also can be used to give a DPS boost.
  • The Corrupted Conserver can reduce tower range by 40% for multiple seconds with its Spirit Release ability.
    • This can be partially mitigated using the DJ Booth's Range Buffs, with its purple track providing the biggest buff.
    • However, If DJ Booth’s purple track (25% Range Buff), with Ranger’s Range Buff (15%), this debuff will be removed entirely, but however, towers will not gain any benefit from this.
  • The Medic can be useful at cleansing stuns from towers with its ability, though it cannot be used to remove debuffs applied by the Corrupted Conserver.
