Description

[edit]

The Elite Boomer is an enemy from Molten mode that explodes upon its death, which debuffs towers caught in the bile bubble. It has average health but slightly fast speed.

When killed, it creates a large explosion with a radius of 10. This applies a 50% Fatigue Debuff and 17.5% Range Debuff for 10 seconds. It also deals 600 damage to units.

Appearance

[edit]

The Elite Boomer has green skin. It has a bloated chest and stomach, with multiple tumors also being visible across its body. It wears multiple pieces of armor, including light yellow shoulder-pads, chestplate and helmet, with a few tubes on its arms. On its chest, it has multiple light yellow explosives attached to it with red neon lights, strapped to it with grey bandages. On its arms, it also has grey bandages.

Strategy

[edit]
  • The Elite Boomer is quite fast, allowing it to quickly get to your towers and debuff them.
    • Additionally, it often times spawns alongside other, at times faste, which distract the towers from the Elite Boomer and allowing it to get closer to your towers.
  • Killing the Elite Boomer before it gets within range of your towers is the most ideal way to deal with Elite Boomers. Keep in mind that it has quite a long debuff time.
    • Placing your towers away from the path is a good way to avoid the Elite Boomer's debuff.
    • Long-range towers, such as the Turret are the best at keeping a distance away from the Elite Boomer.
    • The Engineer's sentries can also be useful, as the sentries cannot be debuffed.
  • The DJ Booth allows towers to shoot the Elite Boomer from further away, potentially defeating it before it blows up near your towers.
    • It and the Commander can also partially negate the Elite Boomer's debuffs.
  • You cannot use the Medic's ability to protect towers of the Elite Boomer's debuff.
    • Additionally, it is not possible to use any stun immune towers to stop the Elite Boomer from debuffing.
