- "If I knew they were frost enemies, I would have brought Pyro. These snowballs keep stunning us!"
File:FrostWave7-1.ogg - ―Commander on Wave 14 (Frost)
Description
[edit]The Snow Minion is a enemy that appears in the Frost mode. Like most of that mode's enemies, it first appeared in the Operation I.C.E Event. It is very slow and due to its ability having a very low cooldown, it will spend most of its time throwing snowballs at towers. With these snowballs, it will target a tower or unit, which to the former applies a 70% Fatigue Debuff for 5 seconds and to the latter deal 10 damage to units.
Logbook Description
[edit]"Snow Minions are rascals who enjoy terrorizing other frost creatures with snowballs. It’s believed the Snowmen learned this habit from watching the Snow Minions. While universally despised among the frost army as pests, their cunning nature makes them valuable distractions. They will throw snowballs at towers and units to freeze or slow."
Appearance
[edit]The Snow Minion is an entity with blue skin. It wears a white robe with a hood, which shrouds its head in darkness, only two glowing white eyes being visible. It haso two blue horns coming out of its hood, with the right one being bigger. It wears a grey shirt and pants. It picks up snowballs which it throws at enemies.
Strategy
[edit]- Early-game towers like the Golden Scout, Golden Soldier, Brawler or Cowboy can be used to take down the Snow Minion.
- The Snow Minion only targets one tower or unit at a time. Therefore, groups of towers and units are preferred here, as they will be far less affected by its single target ability.
- Similarly, stun immune early-game towers can also be useful as the Snow Minion cannot stun them. This includes towers like the Ace Pilot or Brawler.
- Due to it being rather slow and it being summoned by enemies faster than it, the Snow Minion will end up left behind other enemies, allowing it to easily attack towers.
- Changing tower targeting to either Last Enemy or if there are not many low health enemies, Weakest can help out with clearing these out.
- The Frost Necromancer summons multiple at a time while Frost Mysteries will spawn in groups. This makes AOE towers quite effective at killing them, being able to kill multiple often without even needing to target them directly.
- The Snow Minion will target any tower in its range, even if its debuff has no effect on it. This means towers like the DJ Booth, Farm, Military Base or Elf Camp can be used to bait its attack.
