Description
The Beehive is a zombie that only appears on Eggy Island hard mode as part of the Spring 2020 Event. This does not appear in easy mode. This zombie moves incredibly quickly with bees and slightly slower (but still fast) when it doesn't have bees.
This zombie has a yellow torso and legs as well as blue skin. When it is covered in bees, it has a beehive hat. When it isn't covered with bees, this hat is removed.
At half health (175) the Beehive loses its bees and therefore its speed is reduced.
Strategy
- Try to immediately remove the bees from the Beehive quickly.
- As they appear in numbers, it is recommended to use the Mortar or Rocketeer to defeat these.
- If these are not at hand, the Minigunner can be sufficient.
- You can use the Pyromancer, Freezer and Electroshocker to slow the Beehive down so that it is easier to attack.
Trivia
- This is the first zombie to have a negative downgrade when it loses health.
